I came back here after a few days and you are all saying the same things again and again...
I think the only time frame fans of the show really have is Wednesday & Thursday.
I mean obviously folks post during the rest of the week but stuff gets buried by the SAME arguments. On Wednesday, the show airs and fans flock to comment on it since it's fresh in their minds and Thursdays might be full of replies and comments to the Wednesday posts.
I feel lost. Did Geum Hyuk even killed someone or just was a photo guy? The CEO and taxi passenger look like completely…
Honestly, I was a bit confused too by the guy in the picture being different from the killer we know. I thought the killer had plastic surgery & that picture was his before.
But no! It's two different people who were working together. Picture guy was initially the "ideas" guy while the killer did the acts.
It does feel a bit confusing since it's a bit unreliable narrator between the killer lying and the cabbie speculating.
It's weird cause technicially this is a good show; it features a coherent story (for the most part), good acting, and a decent episode length yet there's still something about it that makes me think I wouldn't recommend it to others. Like if people found it on their own and wanted to talk about it, sure but recommending it? Not so much.
This show has some weird editing choices For example, I thought we were having some random flashback because there was there was a cut between a young girl at a store and the female soldier. Another example is the young fan who was told she could be protected only to next show her running for her life and being shot at.
Aside from that, this is feels fairly predictable (but who knows, maybe I'll be wrong)
I had no idea this show existed until I saw it was apart of a MDL video yet there was nothing said about it. I thought there was some audio glitch solely for the segment about this show. And then I look for a trailer and didn't even find one; I just saw a clip/short from episode 1.
When I found out the show was on Viki, I figured I would try it and I didn't realize it was 30-35 minute episodes. This feels weird tonally.
I think I've also been spoiled by Lovely Runner having their idol group that's supposed to be hugely popular and successful performing multiple songs while in this, the idol group played 1 song that seemed to go on forever. Like an entire infiltration, setting up, and exfil happened and they were performing the same song.
Has laws changed in SK cause I thought it was illegal for folks to have guns and yet I seem to see them alot lately. I especially don't know the rules when it comes to toy/model guns.
You must be an idiot because it's not "woke" . It's literally "bl" boys love. Get your homophobic ass somewhere…
Clearly you're the idiot here because (a) I never said the show was "woke", I said I was annoyed seeing the WORDS "bromance" & "woke" (b) I didn't say anything remotely homophobic (c) you don't read with comprehension so is it because you're young or because you wanna feel like you're defending something so you just jump at the chance without thinking?
Genuinely asking this: how many folks here actually read the webnovels/webtoons dramas are adapted from? Not just BL but in general. Are there GL stories that get adapted and if so, how many folks here have watched the dramas or read the source material?
I don't fully understand why the chief had to die. Then again, I don't even understand why he was bait in the first place.
Nor do I understand why the culprit put the sister's fingertips at the house when he didn't do that for ANY of the other victims (unless I'm forgetting something)
Well he used it to humiliate the bully, to show that he didn't understand and he was stupid.
It was just extra insulting because Jae Min *knew* he was being insulted or at least being sworn at but he didn't know what was being said. So it was needling and frustrating.
Especially the car scene where he mixed the korean and the english so Jae Min knew he called him trash but didn't know the rest.

I'm not sure why.
Is my opinion invalid because I didn't feel like searching for and adding a picture? Or writing an "about me" or something.
I'm genuinely curious. Can someone tell me what's the big deal

It's just seeing it SOOO much in this comment section is like๐ฎโ๐จ
The actors are doing a good jobs especially consider this mainly features young and unknown actors.
The silver lining, I guess, is that it can all be a learning experience for them.
I saw a discipline committee hearing (I think) but saw no punishments and it seemed like everyone was just going back to life as usual.
