hes mentally ill and doesn’t want others in his friend group
Seeing this written is so weird cause it's so petty and unhinged in its possessiveness
He really did get mad because they were hanging out without him meanwhile a bunch of those pictures were taken when Suho was in the hospital. It's not like any of the picture were at some party or something. It was a hospital and work I think. I know a burger was involved haha
i love the drama so so much, but i just got a question...why is beomseok jealous of suho just coz he didnt follow…
He just has alot of emotional issues. He had inferiority and resentment towards Suho cause (a) Suho can fight & protect himself (b) effortlessly confident, respected, admired & sociable (c) he didn't follow him back on Instagram which apparently he associated with friendship (even though that just necessarily mean anything considering Suho only followed like 6 people and wasn't really about Instagram) (d) Suho seemed closer to Young Gi than him (e) Suho didn't let him cross the line
I'm so nervous about the new season because there's SUCH high expectations for it due to both previous season's reception & success and the cast.
I think this season is gonna have a different tone and vibe. I just can't imagine that not being the case because there's more characters involved. Hmm, maybe it will be like the gangster guy who did some promotions and was in half the episodes but didn't play a huge part in the overall story.
I honestly kinda forgot that one of the big plot elements of the webtoon is the ranking amongst the schools' fighters & how all of that eventually funnels to Donald Na.
The show will probably put their own spin on things (like they did with S1) but I wonder if that is gonna be a thing.
The bullies are THE most cowardly and pathetic guys to exist. They can ONLY do anything when they're outnumbering their target.
In Marry My Husband, there's a line like "you seek fairness when at a disadvantage but thrive when at an advantage" and I think that's the mentality of the most despicable characters (people) and this show was such an example of that.
Even Bum Seok's father concedes to Si Eun (to some extent)because Si Eun has an advantage over him.
Every time I rewatch this or I watch reaction videos to it, I have a new appreciation for it. The fact that the writer, director, and cast were able to tell this story so brillantly in 8 episodes is so impressive. And it's not even an exaggeration when praising this show.
They legitimately developed the dynamic between the guys in an organic way and broke in an organic way that was realistic and heartbreaking because there's so many elements at play.
nah i think he will be less generous to bullies this season lol
That would be in line with the webtoon haha
I'm SOOO curious how he's gonna fight in S2 since some of the fights S1 were from the early episodes of the webtoon. I don't even have a particular thing I want to see, I just wonder how it's gonna be incorporated.
It's cool how the script cover is the actual webtoon characters. Before I realized the drama was a based on this arc, I kept thinking Su Ho was supposed to be Ben Park. Seems so silly in hindsight especially when this picture exists and shows the actual characters haha
I watched this without watching S1 and while it definitely references things that happened then and to have a better understanding of things, it would be beneficial to have watched it, I don't think it's needed to appreciate this show.
From what I understand, the characters are so different compared to S1, not just because of the cast changes but the growth and maturation they've gone through in universe.
Personally, I like the scenes and moments with the twins.
This is my type of show: comedic and funny as well as lovely relationships. I think the best relationship is the toothless dad and his son(s). He's just such a genuinely good guy and his toothless smile made him even more endearing.
This was my first time seeing Joon Gi is more overt comedy. I've usually seen more of a sly comment or a funny situation (like in Again My Life).
I think this was a perfect match for him as an actor.
I don't know what to say about this show. It's just so completely messy but then there are folks who like and enjoy it to the point where it can make one wonder if *they're* the ones missing the brillance of this drama.
I've seen some comments that are like "ah, it's finally over" and honestly, I kinda related to that. It's a mean sentiment but man, sometimes this was hard to get through because it was just so messy.
The writing, the directing, the editing, and the acting; there can be faults found with all of them at even given point. But the drama is also weirdly addicting, if you aren't turned off haha
This drama is example of just watch for yourself and form your own opinion

I also wonder about the episode count.
If this keeps up, I wonder if as he ages, that means he'll graduate to playing henchmen or terrible bosses.

I was thinking in S1, Si Eun gave multiple chances for people to not mess with him so I wonder if for S2 that won't be a thing.

I think Saya is so sad

It's still early days/years in his career but he does those high emotion scenes so well and he's gotten better with it over time.
The aspect I liked least was the love interest. The more time went on, the more I disliked her.
