The most solid modern romance I have seen in a while. Took a long time for the leads to get together but once they do they stay strong and I love that!
I thought ZRN was a little weak in this but her comfortable chemistry with CXX made up for it.
The ML law firm partner made some of the best faces and I wouldn't mind seeing him lead a romcom of his own.
I would have made this a 9/10 but the story towards the end got a little draggy and focused away from main CP. Plus, even though overall the main relationship was super healthy, there were times I wish they had communicated better.
Was anyone else a little worried about the conversation where Jihee talked about having a baby? Maybe it was the way the translation was but for a moment I was worried she cheated and was pregnant just to confirm she COULD get pregnant. I'm glad it was actually her sharing she wanted a baby.
The MDL rating should definitely be more in the 8s. This was so sweet and unique with widows/widowers getting another chance at love. It can be a tricky subject and I felt it was handled really well. Yes that led to a more restrained romance that got draggy towards the end but I think it worked for this story.
This was the first time I had seen the FL and she is adorable! Also i would love to see her and Rowoon paired up again!
I think I would have been more frustrated with this show had I not had this comment section and Cyn Lynn recaps. The show struggled to convey time and distances throughout the country.
However, this was beautiful with some solid acting especially from the men!
I have some questions that are not important at all but are spoilers. Dear LYFers, plz help!
1. CX gets a second wife awarded to him. Was this not a slap in the face to the Shen Clan? Or was it considered OK because she was lower status and is still a wife/not concubine level?
2. Did XY give up TJ because of pregnancy only? Like once she knew he was effectively date raped (*even if it is unconfirmed sex actually happened*), she could have gotten past it. However because a child is involved it was a given he would "have" to marry FFYY because of societal customs.
I literally just had that thought today when I saw a thumbnail for something and thought it was ZL. It is something fleeting in the facials I think because overall I think both men are striking in very different ways.
I have no idea when people say "bad hairdo" for kang si-young. Does it mean "too bad for a FL in a drama" or "too…
I think it was the fact it was like a hard cut shoulder length bob but with it long underneath. It was the most noticeable during the conference scene where she took the stage to speak. Super unflattering for anyone! It wasn't so bad when her hair was in a ponytail though.
I'm having a hard time to keep watching it bc the beginning was kinda boring, but I'm craving for more dramas…
I almost dropped because it wasn't grabbing me like I thought it would. But I felt it started to hit a groove around episode 5 then really kept moving!
The FL became more focused and the team dynamics were fun. Ji Sung simply smolders whatever scene he is in. No this is not a medically accurate representation of some hospital procedures and whatnot but if you watch for fun medical drama then I think this show will get better for you.

This is totally an easy, quick, binge watch!
This is the second time I have seen a Jeremy Tsui drama and I think he is a rather unique ML. Sorta odd but I like it?
Definitely recommend for an angst-free romance fan!

I need S2 to hurry up!

I thought his character was super cute in Unicorn Girl and he was good in Your Sensibility My Destiny.
Of course I love happy endings! I'm glad we got there and the angst didn't drag forever. However it just felt like a cop out to wrap up the show.
