I think I don't watch Xianxia right because of the 3 Peach Blossom Forest things I definitely liked this one the best: L&D > ELOD > EL/TMOPB

Lower angst (*even though some stuff in the last episodes irked me*). Misunderstandings didn't last long, couples understood why things happened, and not holding grudges with each other.

I rarely binge these big dramas but I devoured this and loved pretty much every character! Totally recommend this!

I can see where this would be well loved but I guess wasn't for me. Loved the earlier bromance of the dudes in the first 3rd of series. World building was fun and some stunning visuals. Other than that it felt like there was so much information packed into every episode that I stopped caring?

When was Tang Ze introduced? I don't really remember him then suddenly he took the Black Tortoise spot at the end. I felt something like taking Tang Lian's spot would have more fanfare. But since it was towards the end I can understand not wanting viewers to waste time bonding with a new person.

Not really. I think I remember 2 main kiss scenes and they weren't dead fish but not the fire their chemistry deserved I thought.

Of course this is all my opinion and maybe I'm a floozy that sets my "proper kiss" bar too high.

Watched it for spooky season and indeed this had a nice creepy vibe. I definitely have some questions but I really loved the actors, music, and otherworldly vibe. Mio was my favorite!

Also I felt she "gave" her heart at the end meaning it probably gave him some bad power to stick around again :-(

I loved the music! Unique and refreshing alt sound that was not intrusive or overly repetitive.

Some cute moments and kisses. But terrible editing! Most notably episode 10 and beyond.

Yes it is a happy ending but that last episode just didn't fit at all!

Only gave the rating I did because the ML was wonderful. The 2ML had great comedic timing plus made a good villain.

If you want sizzle, this was the most steamy to me. Yes ML is a red flag and the story is ridiculous but just enjoy the ride.

For something with a good story, I adored this one. Unlike Silent, the ML is deaf but it isn't really the focus of the story.

I know not all love needs kisses BUT the poster for this made me think there would be a kiss or something towards the end. The story and everything was lovely but I WANTED THEM TO SMOOSH THEIR PRETTY FACES TOGETHER!

FL did pretty well with dual role and I think the ML improved a bit since mysterious love. They still have fantastic chemistry.

Love of Replica has some serious pace problems though. Also the music was sometimes intrusive. Plus the ending, though happy, made me roll my eyes.

if you are wanting some action and steam I recommend Mysterious Love over this. LoR was fun and you only want to see the steamy CP.

I saw the anime first and I think it helped me to enjoy this film even more! It is a lot of story to pack into 1 film and I think they did really well with how they chose to condense some parts.

I liked that the film had a bit more of an "Attack on Titan" vibe with the brotherhood of soldiers.

Extremely adored our ML and FL! Meguro is a new fav of mine and whoever did his styling deserves an award.

I know the Korean version is well loved and I have NOT seen it. But I've seen enough Kdrama to know this version is better! There were times when I felt I could tell how the korean version would handle the story and it would be drawn out and frustrating.

This was fun and not overly long! We didn't dwell on sad times and there were many fun characters. Solid romcom I would recommend!
