I don't understand why there are two versions, the special edition is better as it clarifies the finale episode for me and is a good gateway into season 2.
So I watched the normal version and was super disappointed, it suggests everyone watches this version for Season one, it has all the same scenes with a few extensions, but the finale episode is much better here compared to the normal version finale, which I hated.
He has an upcoming drama with Li Shengxuan called Sea Breeze Blows Over the Heart Lake (海风拂心湖) but no idea when i will be released. i saw a clip of it on YT but nothing else. if anyone sees this comment then please put a link with it :)

This one was soo good i watched it last night and may be my favourite of hers as i loved the plot!
It was pretty obvious in the main show that he had a crush and was angry/jealous. I never felt bad for him in the main show but with this side story, i did loool. He's like a kid who was shown love for the first time (We still don't like him tho)
I thoroughly enjoyed this, and the cute appearance of the couple from Plus & Minus was cute. I noticed Yuki from the other couple, did he not get a happy ending in that show? (I never finished it lol)
Anyway my thoughts, the main thing that bothered me was Zongyi being 17 and Ze Rui being 25, they could have had his birthday before them being intimate, which I know wouldn't have worked for the prison arc. Another thing that annoyed me is it felt like Zongyi lost a lot while Ze Rui gained. He gained a supportive brother, a good position in the family business, and freedom from the 'Fan' family. He gained a supportive secondary family while Zongyi not only spent 4 years in jail going through what we could only imagine but got injured which led to lifelong complications of short-term memory and his academic future. I know I should look at it this way but I hate when one partner in the relationship suffers more, especially considering the large age gap, you would think the older one would be the protector when it's the other way with the couple.
That being said, I didn't skip any scenes, which is a major achievement as lately I have struggled with shows. it kept me engaged throughout, and I had sweat moments. The second couple was also a treat to watch, and I don't believe I've watched any one of Nat Chen's works before, but I am a fan now.
Also, the little twist towards the end was a great add tbh, and loved the shock value. lastly, I wish there was just a bit more about the relationship with the older couple.
I enjoyed this, but I had to skip scenes as it was a drag and the romance wasn't all that convincing. So many things were happening lol. but still a solid 6/10 from me. I also found out the 2 leads are also leads in Moonlight Chicken so going to watch that next as it's been on my list
