Coincidence, not at all. This is amazing. Maoqui is just as loyal and determined as his master Xiangliu. I wish author somehow give justice to them. She knows, they deserve it.

Well, She lost her soulmate, strong warrior general. What can Grandpa do? He's one those, who kept reminding XY can't be together with XL. So, in end, somewhat all they can do is just compromise with an already married, bankrupt, clingy fox in law. No offence but Jing and XY wedding scene is flatout cringy, just like their chemistry. To be fair, she was prettier in previous wedding look.

Agreed. Whoever mocking XL death, and ignoring his love, loyalty and devotion are blind and insecure just as Jing. They can't accept fact, that weak, needy, silver-spooned rich man, Jing equated everything as deal, yet fails to be man enough for his woman in end. Its faults of his own incompetency.

Here's fact, hinted by TongHua, that Xiang Liu being alive until before going to battle, when stabbed his heart to remove 'Lover bug' is a massive prove itself that Xiaoyao never stopped loving him. They never rejected 'Lover bug'. Alas! In end, yearning with her hollow heart for lost love remains, forever.

Btw, author claimed to prefer Xiangliu, then I hope she proves it, by bringing this beautifully selfless, strong, loving, loyal and amazing man back. Please.😌

World is not a bed of roses. Well, killing such a beautifully selfless, loyal character as Xiangliu in end. It significantly doesn't leave any hope for honesty and peace in world, tainted with war, and ongoing real life struggles.

Doesn't remain at the end. *Spoiler* Jing left making FFYY's son as his family successor, (in reality, he left son for other woman). XY as working woman will be supporting his weak self.

So drama will end soon, but some Jing fans trying to whitewash him while questioning other leads love & sacrifices, misinterpreting story. TongHua definitely not gonna proud of them. I hope they don't forget its just a 'Fantasy Story'. No offense but men like Jing can only get girl in a fantasy story, not in reality. How? Try to imagine yourself, your sister or daughter in reality with someone like Jing, rich, incompetent, insecure, clings to you, doubts your character, bound you in false promises, fails to solve family affairs, fails to be responsible lover, husband and father, even lost all wealth & worth. No matter how much arguing, can never change this fact.

Exactly. Always being mocked & marginalized for being poor orphan demon, through Xiangliu, author somewhat represented a picture of people struggles in real life facing poverty & racism.

Wasn't author already made it obvious from very first moment? XiaoYao, CangXuan and Xiangliu are working, capable hardworking active characters while Jing as begger, hinting prime personality of doing nothing but being pitiful, dull, insecure, lacks strong will, failing to solve his problems, clinging to XY, being rich getting things from sideline everything as a deal. Upon that, leaving his son signifies Jing as failed father. XY delaying marrying him for 43 yrs. is a clear indication of Jing various failure. In end, XY only have her own strength to rely upon, not him.

Drama has yet to finish but apparently certain fans, "Jing is so pure. Xiaoyao took advantage of his kindness and love.", "CangXuan and Xiangliu are jealous of Jing's beauty, so they killed him in end."

Here, I thought Xiaoyao is the female lead, not Jing, while *Spoiler* Xiangliu saved Jing with merpeople help.

Well, whatever hideous versions some Jing fans are selling, are beyond embarrassing. Viewers who hadn't seen drama or read novel yet, sadly you are on your own. Please, proceed with caution. 😌

So, *SPOILER* Fangfengbei being dead indicates the oncoming of war & conflicts. XiangLiu as Fengfengbei was Xiaoyao's last ray of hope, unfortunately snatched, by cruel fate to belongs different political sides. They can't be together.

At this point, seems Tcent wants us to be satisfied with 'Compromising empty ending' just as like its novel ending and title 'Zhang Xiang Si'.
