Honestly, if Jing character was important than production could have choosen a professional artist, not some new expressionless actor, doesn't use his own voice (which Magnolia judges says, is effective key part of acting, necessary for artist doing ancient dramas). Its fine. TH said its a non-tragic ending but left at viewers to define themselves. She never specified story as happy ending. XY delayed their wedding 40+ years shows her hesitation for Jing. Its not like that. You can read its novel, if you like angst. In summary, CX lost XY cause of his madness for power, while XiaoYao lost her soulmate Xiang liu, who sacrificed himself after saving XY and Jing. XY endup with Jing, who is already married man and have a son.

Officially YZ is 1st billing/lead but DW/Jing fans wrongly publicized novel/drama contents. His team/fans made many issues last year. Recently complained that DW should be selected for Magnolia Award, not YZ, while using her for Cp hype etc. Btw, ZWY infact is the 1stML.
