It's a real shame that Makiko Esumi retired. I read somewhere that sometime after Shomuni she was involved in a scandal. Like, she advertised some pension schemes, but it turned out that she was not paying her contributions (something like that). This may have caused her falling out with the agency. Makiko herself cited that she's retiring because she wants to have more time with her children.
