Thanks for the comment! You mean like kaiju movies outside of Godzilla series? Then, I recommend Gamera Heisei Trilogy. These movies are very similar in tone to Godzilla. Also, Mothra Trilogy from the 1990s. From very early ones, there were also two Japanese Frankenstein films and one with King Kong.

[The Writer's Addendum]: 1) GoRanger has actual fansubs, even though there is still some information on the net (together with raw episodes available) that denies it. 2) Ohranger/Carranger drama appears to be an urban myth which is repeated across many sites. In fact, the ratings during Ohranger's run did not hit rock bottom and did not pick up significantly during the broadcast of Carranger. At the time, the franchise kept going because of toy sales.

My thanks go to Super Sentai fans who pointed out the errors that needed corrections. I'm sorry for including factual inconsistencies in the first place.
