The light armor looks so good on Guyun. I am amazed by how nice it looks on photos already. These hero outfits tend to look meh without the post production magic but not this one. I am actively fanning myself whenever I see him geared up. No wonder Chang Geng fell in love with his little yifu.

Wouldn't be a good idea to air HYX and FHLJ at the same time or really close to each other in my opinion. Because HYX is a big budge drama Tencent probably wants it on the frontpage. But then they can only do it from august, as far as I know. Giving up front page for FHLJ I can see that but not for HYX. Anyways, don't give up hope, just don't put too much trust in rumors and you are good. Anything can happen at any time.

They stripped down the meaning with the bad translation. I've fansubbed Korean and Chinese dramas both and it just pisses me off extra because there are ways to work over it(the cultural differences) . It feels like these Netflix subbers are half assing. Couldn't they have find a more intimate way for WenZhou to address each other? Is it too much to ask for the Netflix translators to put heart into their work? I make subs for free and it took me 2 seconds to come up with a better idea. It is not the same but use "Xu" instead of Zhou Xu and "Old Wen" instead of Wen Kexing.

Wen Kexing calling Zishu as "Zhou Xu" instead of "A-Xu" in the Netflix subs like it is not one of the most important things in the drama. At least make Kexing call him"Xu" or something to make it actually sound personal.

I read in an article that youku might try to erase the ending so it doesn't seem like it got a happy ending. You know, because of censorship. BL couples can’t get a happy ending, sadly. Youku purposely made the special look like an mv and not an episode so they could counter censorship. I am not sure what is the truth but I wish they would add the special because everyone who watched 36 episodes deserves to see the real ending.

Yeah, I agree. Tbh I don't think she dared to change it, (even though I don't see what was the use to kill her in the drama. /other than that amazing hand touching scene. One of my favourite shots in the drama/ In the book it made sense because of Kexing's anger and revenge) it is a big part of the book.

I mean it is book canon as it happens in the book too but the scriptwriter changed so many things, wished she changed their ending too. She actually put an easter egg in the drama. When Wei Ning talks about his dream, that he died and waited for A-Xiang on the other side is their real ending in the book. They meet in the afterlife, reborn together and later in their next life they get married. I like to think it is their real ending in the drama too.
