Ok, so this is one of the dramas that if we took out comic moments and sweet music, it would have been a Criminal Minds episode.
Obsessive and stalkerish ML who loves FML so much that he will pursue her after the break up so relentlessly that he will finally wear her out.
Moon Sang Min (the ML) is talented enough but unfortunately, when surrounded by all these great and experienced actors, his performance always falls a bit flat.
Also second couple totally stole the show, I was way more invested in their story

On The Smile Has Left Your Eyes Sep 26, 2024
This is one of the dramas that is being recommended left and right as gut wrenching and deep but turns out to be just ok.
There are multiple murder plotlines, they knew each other as kids trope, lost memories trope and an evil CEO trope. FML sees all the red flags but is apparently colourblind.

Im honestly so baffled by the comment section here. Some of you seem to be really shocked by the fact that grown, adult women have sex.
If you're so scandalised by the fact of having sex, polyamory or open relationships (which are not the same thing, since some of you dont know it) then maybe, idk, whtch something else? There are plenty of dramas with untouched virgin FML finding their hot CEOs who are also untouched virgins.

Im loving how open and forward this drama is. We have open sex talk, polymaory, writing/reading smut. It's so refreshing.

I am guessing that FL might have left home in between. Or else she would have known that ML was staying in their…
i would guess she was at Uni then.

This is a very short drama but it's very sweet and it still manages to pull your heartstrings.
I picked it up solely for Yoon Park who stole every single scene he was in both Doctor Slump and Cimnderella After 2am and I wanted to see him as ML. My boy definitely delivers.
Highly recommend.

The premise is great, but everything else about this drama is just fine. The acting is fine, the production value is fine, the plotlines are fine, the ending is fine.
Will I remember this drama in a month? I highly doubt it.

I completly forgot Lee Sang Yi is in it so when he showed up on the screen I was so happy! He's such a cinnamon roll

It’s really funny to see korean american lobbyist who has been living in the US for so long and yet was speaking…
idk if you've seen "Mouse"? there's this character who's supposedly been adopted as a child from Korea and brought up in UK (going to school there, being a professor at an English Uni later on) but when he comes to Korea as a middle aged man his English has a such a thick accent! Like, why no one working on these shows picks these things up?

Title Your Honor Spoiler
This is one of the dramas that I picked up after seeing one 10sec long reel, and it was definitely worth it. ML…
1. i fell like the true villain of the story was the mother and I hated her rushed and random character progression. There is NOTHING that would explain the abuse and favouritism she showed.
2. I must be in minority but I actually enjoyed the fact that we haven't seen brotherly (or even whole family) reunion. If your family has hurt you your entire life you are not obligated to reunite with them. Or even forgive them. If I were ML I wouldn't want to have anything to do with that sucky brother.

ML was fun and charming, FML bit annoying at start but she definitely grew on me. I loved their chemistry and how she, without even trying, made the ML want to be a better person.
Cases the fake judge took on were a perfect
mix of interesting and sad.
There are very mixed reviews on the ending, but I really enjoyed it as it made perfect sense (explanation in comment)

Title Mr. Heart
Ok, the plot makes no sense whatsoever. Why would a sprinter (who runs max 400m) be a pacer for someone who runs over 40km and why would he randomly, without any training, be able to pace for 20km? But what do I know...
Besides that, this drama was sort of cute, even though super rushed, but definitely filmed with £10 note and a paperclip.

Title The Law Cafe
This was surprisingly fun and charming. I loved the chemistry between the leads and absolutely adored all the secondary characters. The cases FML was taking on were interesting and not too drawn out. It was great to see Lee Seung Gi in a role in a rom-com that was so different from his role in "Mouse" and Jo Han Chul as a totally unhinged villain was an icing on the cake.

Wow. Just wow. This was so good.
Lee Do Hyun was absolutely amazing and Ra Mi Ran who plays his mother was so good, she squeezed out every tear I had in me.
This drama shows how hard parenting is and no matter how good your intentions are, in the end it's the execution that really counts.
I loved the background characters who were all so well written (yakuza daughter for the win!) and the small village vibes.

Ok but in all seriousness the blurb should sound something like "functional alcoholic tries very hard and finally succeeds in convincing a non-drinker with alcohol related trauma to enjoy alcohol because YOLO".
Also the food in this show looked so bland and unappetising that almost lost my will to live.

This was actually a super fun drama even if a bit short (6eps only). The chemistry between the team members was great and seeing Lee Sang Yi as an unhinged villain was definitely something else.
