I enjoyed this drama, but it's not quite perfect...The best part for me was the main cast; I really liked how…
i think the English title set some level of expectations that, in the emd, were not met. the title suggest that's this drama is heavy on the romance (not gonna lie, that was what I expected)
I came solely for Wi Ha Jun (whom I loved in "Bad and Crazy") and unfortunately stayed for him only. This drama had so much potential but I swear if it went any slower it would go backwards.
90% of the time was devoted to weird, long convos about the Korean educational system, showing lecturers, showing teachers preparing to lectures and talking about lectures.
After 15 LONG episodes we got a disappointing and rushed finale with a random cat fight. This drama was 16 ep long but it honestly felt like 116
I think they add it to add more 'spices' in the drama. I am not sure how the drama will continue their story but…
i think the guys call him a player bc so many girls chat him up but i reckon he doesn't engage (as shown in one of early episodes when he was sitting with the boss).
I swear this drama has more holes than Swiss cheese.
This was... Idk.. all over the place. It's obvious the actors did their best but it's only so much they could do since the drama was filmed with £10 note and a paperclip. Hard pass.
visually stunning, but plotwise there wasnt much there. FML worked as a street food cook and yet after like 5 minutes of working under fine dining chef she's a cooking prodigy and a chef herself. I understand being born with talend but even extremely talented people are training their cooking skills for years before they're allowed to do basically anyting
This is exactly what you get when you desperately try to milk that cow but there's no milk left. I honestly don't know what happened here. We get 500 new characters with no backstory, the old characters I care about do nothing, they're just in the background. There's zero plot, everyone running around like headless chickens desperately trying to prove there's a reason for their character to even be there. There's an extremely confusing time jump as well. How many years have passed? A year? 5? Who knows? Probs not even the screenwriter. Also it's rich putting Song Kang on the poster and then barely giving him any screen time. He's the main lead and we see him maybe like twice.
I know I will be in minority, but I did not enjoy it at all. usually I like rom-coms that are more com than rom, but even I have my limits. The amount or cringe just shot through the roof.
By now I'm almost certain that Lee Jun Young's agent secretly hates him, as this is the second absolutely terrible drama in a row that this talented actor stars in. He tried his best, but even his back is not wide enough to carry this whole dumpster fire.
ok so season 1 was a typical grumpy/sunshine drama which was mediocre but still fine. But this? What in the holy toxicity was this? So, plotwise, grumpy for some dubious reason decides to break up with sunshine so he literally goes out to take out the trash and never comes back? Then we have lots of angst and clinging and no self respect, so you know, not my vibe. Grumpy is a red flag so big he's a whole red sea while having the personality of a lamp, and sunshine is just a doormat that deserves better. Hard pass.
Thats so typical... that teacher wjo has a crush on Hye Jin.. everyting's fine as long HE likes her and has hope for her liking him, then Im guessing dating a coworker would be peachy. But the second he knows she will never reciprocate his feeling he does everything to destroy and punish her for this. Like honestly, i want to slap him with a chair. Repeatedly. Just grow up and move on, jesus.
i also appreciate sweet but completly unrealistic portrayal of a media company that cares more about actors' feelings and wellbeing than about contracts and money. AS IF.
I was super excited for this one but unfortunately it turned out a bit meh. People here saying that FML left ML bc he was poor and she should have supported his dreams. Idk, man, when i think about it i know i would do the same. imagine going to work day after day, trying your best to keep afloat just to go back home to your bf who's watching youtube for 14h and claiming it's "for work". Or playing videogames for 3days with no break. sitting all day at home, not even putting an effort to clean of make dinner, just dreaming. I would have been livid. I know here it all turned out great for him, but how many people actually achieve success in this field? and how many just keep on being unemployed assholes who just leech on their significant others or parents? i know this drama shows you that if you keep on being a dreamer and work hard on your dream you will succeed, but come on, paying your bills and having food to eat is also crucial.
Anyways, neither ML nor FML changed much sonce their first breakup and they honestly had no business being together. She was unable to receive help from anyone which is a terrible trait, and he was unable to really understand her.
the first episode was so over the top that i was low key enjoying it, but somehow it's turning out to be really good? I'm not sure how will they fill out 16 eipsodes, but Im excited to see
what i always wonder about is are people not embarrassed to show their trashy personalities on tv? are they cluelwss or just that shameless? honestly, if i were Gwan Hee's sistwr i would probably pretend now to know him when out and about and i would ask him not to ackowledge me in any way on front of other (people) but probably also in private as well
omg this season was TRASH. Gwan-Hee should legally change his name to Red-Flag. His trashy personallity ruined every single scene he was in. His "harem" was as terrible, no self-respect whatsoever. Also im sure Ha Bin was there only to promote My Demon and no one will persuade me otherwise.
This is a super short (4eps) and super sweet drama and yet the amount of longing is unreal. As usual Park Hyung Sik plays a flag so green it could be a whole forest, but sadly the chemistry between him and FML is barely there. I enjoyed watching it and it made me tear up a few times, but probably will forget about it by the end of the day.
The source material was absolutely butchered, which might be fine to some but definitely wasn't fine with me. the ending was disappointing, as it made all that happened pointless.
I have such a mixed feelings about this one. on one hand I'm sticking in for Ha Jun as I'm excited to see him as a romantic lead. last week i said I'm happy i stuck for him as I finally got really invested, but this week unfortunately this whole investment died out a bit. the background drama is not interesting enough to take up like 90% of the screen time with romance being only 10%. i just don't care that much about lessons planning, internal conflicts of competing academies, producing textbooks, preparing textbooks, writing on the board etc. i understand this is supposed to be a realistic show and im ok with it, but even i have my limits. This drama is like watching my co-workers printing folders at my office, just with better looking people.
