this drama is giving me terminal illness vibes (hopefully im wrong ans FML was just overworked and needed a break). On the other hand Im super stoked to see Junh Hae In as a ML as I loved him in Prison's Playbook
Ok, so this is exactly what you'd get if you asked chatGPT to write you a kdrama script. Everything in this one was predictable, and even though it's not always a bad thing, here it was just boring. The romance was lukewarm, FML was fun but ML was.. idk.. he just was. 2ML was a red flag if I ever saw one, but showed in a way that I felt I should sympathise and I don't appreciate that. Hye Ji's father showed us, in a one brief scene, that we can like and care for a person and still be able to call out their shitty behaviour. This is the only one good thing that came out of this drama.
I picked this one up only because I wanted to see Lee Sang Yi in a main role and gotta tell you, I was not disappointed. My boy delivered. Both MLs were amazing, the chemistry was there for sure. This drama is very dark and gory but also has some funny and sweet moments. And I think that was a perfectix. It takes place in the heights of the COVID pandemic and shows it made people desperate and how criminal companies used that desperation.
This has such a cool vibe, I'm annoyed I haven't watched it sooner. This drama is action packed from the first few minutes. The romance is a bit lukewarm and the FML a bit meh, but the rest of the characters are top notch. Also, Ju Chang Wook's smile is just something else.
I didn't want to watch it, as I work in an auditing company, but I'm glad I got persuaded. This was absolutely great! The vibe was amazing, the cases the team was working on were interesting but Im 100% sure this is not how auditing looks like 😂 This was one of the few dramas I actually wished had more episodes.
This one started a bit cringe as it's super heavy on the com part of rom-com. After a while I got used to the vibe and omg this turned out to be the sweetest and cutest thing ever. The background characters are amazing and the "they knew themselves as kids" trope.is actually believable. 2ML is annoying AF though and never have I ever wished for a character to just drive off the cliff that much.
this finished with the most boring and basic lineup possible. Don't get me wrong, Im not saying the boys that won are not talented. I think they have plenty of talent and Im happy they got to pursue their dream. But overall, any boy that had an ounce of personality (with the exception of maybe Ricky) was voted out
I think Tae Heon was my absolute fave of all the cast members. He is such a sweet soul and he definitely was a good spirit of the house, always giving thoughtful advice and supporting everyone. I wish him all the best.
sometimes watching a whole drama based on one single edit is the best choice ever, but sometimes it's just not. I'm not even sure how to summarise the plot, as it's basically about the marketing team of a big corporation. And that's it. I was super excited for this one as Kwak Dong Yeon is such a connamon roll I was happy to see him as ML, but unfortunately he had zero chemistry with the FML and their relationship felt forced and quite frankly unnecessary. Also ask the truly fun moments were in that edit I saw. The rest just felt too much and a bit cringe. Overall this drama is extremely mediocre and I already forgot most about it.
I wasn't a fan of season 2, but gotta admit, this one has improved by a lot. Song Kang got a major upgrade on not only when it came to hairstyle and wardrobe, but also screen time and spoken lines, so he finally was a proper ML. I still think this should have been one season only, but at least now we got a closure and can move on. 8* as this dropped today and I'm already done, which counts for something, i guess.
This is a very short drama (4ep only), so i just picked it up randomly. It started interesting but quickly became unbearable. FML was so annoying that i wanted to slap her. 17 times. With a chair. ML deserved better. Also, the fact that FML was actively planning a mu rder, the police had evidence and yet she was not persecuted for it made me more angry than I care to admit.
Idk, the main issue i have with kdramas produced by Disney is that they usually start so strong but quickly become meh. For some reason they're like 8eps long which is not enough to really explore those cool plotlines or to let characters shine. Kdramas have the 12/16 episodes format for a reason. Here everything feels rushed, and there's always that last scene that lets you know that there will be season 2, because that's Disney for ya (second session was just announced the other day. How shocking and unexpected).
I also hated that ML was vigilanting to his heart content, he was shown as smart and all, but then some rando approaches him, tells him "Im a fan let's work together" and my dude is like "cool, sure, i know literally nothing about you, but let's do it, sounds fun"
