Well, I rewarched to refresh; she was at the Joseon film set, remembered the deadline, and rushed to the bridge. Her watch showed 1:30am, so she just missed him, as he left after waiting an hour. She goes to check the capsule, then goes to his place, and that's when he drives by, so I don't know what he was doing, but he must have done something else. No one seems to sleep. π They're all up at like 3am. π

I know a lot of people do, but she was not his equal intellectually, and it bothered me. It was when they still wrote a lot of FLs kind of ditzy and dumb.
Why did Sol say she was there at the bridge but was late? The old Sol won't remember that, right? And I doubt the…
Original Sol did arrive before midnight on the 1st, but she got arrested and remembered while she was at the police station when she found out the date (if I remember right), and then she rushed over, but it was quite a bit later so he'd left by then.
I interpreted that scene as him trying to check up on her (probably quite often) and Sol finally telling him to…
Yes, @PandaDorama just pointed out that Sun Jae didn't see his face. Why'd it take so long to find him, though? She had the evidence! π
And sending him to jail again won't necessarily stop the future events. Once he gets out, just later this time, he'll still come back again for revenge. π€

Right! You're right, only the driver saw Sun Jae, not the other way around. But they had the keys and stuff, it took them a year to find hum and convict him? π€

Oh, that dialogue did not land for me from Suspicious Partner. π I thought it was so weird. I didn't care for that female lead much so I'm sure that didn't help.
Yes, you're right, and I imagine we'll see more next episode from his perspective. It's weird we didn't get even enough of him in Episode 8 to ever find out what or who he is in the future.

So, he didn't get sent to jail after the accident WE saw in which Sol changes her fate? Huh. Makes sense I guess.
But Sun Jae made a comment in Episode 8 like, "You must be doing better." And then he says, "Before, you were too afraid to see me after what happened." Are you suggesting he meant that about what happened after the second accident 14 years ago, rather than the accident we saw?
I'm also confused about why adult/original Sol wouldn't remember the second accident from 14 years ago when she gets her future new self's memories (like she remembers her brother and friend getting married, etc.). If she rejected Sun Jae because of those bad memories, she should still have them, right? Ah, so confused. π
In the flashback when old Sol says she can no more keep seeing sunjae they both looked like they were in college.…
I interpreted that scene as him trying to check up on her (probably quite often) and Sol finally telling him to back off cause she couldn't handle it, as it kept reminding her of her accident. Though I don't know what she'd remember? It was adult Sol who went through it, so young Sol would have had no memory of the events that took place.
In each timeline, it seems like he falls for her cuteness first--and thinks it's adorable (even though she IS kind of nuts so much of the time)--and then when she's earnest and serious about protecting him he just falls headlong and is completely undone. π

So, LR, don't go downhill, please don't go downhill... π
