Why HASN'T Im Sol broken up with Tae Sung by Episode 5? π€
Also, did it look like Im Sol's forehead was pink/red, like it was hit, in the last scene? Did I miss something? What was the deal with that?
These deets aside, they're SO cute together. I was squealing when Sun Jae came up with the same jacket as Tae Sung; I almost couldn't watch further. π«£ Good grief, Sun Jae's just a character--but I was so embarrassed for him! π
K-dramas often use eclipse as time travel triggers. Any theories on why?
That they do so feels very superstitious and mythological to me. π M
For this drama, though, my thought was that it was because the first day the drama aired it aligned with the solar eclipse in real life (April 8th), and Sun Jae's band was called Eclipse. π€·ββοΈ
I'd really love watching similar vibe drama, if you have any recs, please share :)
Would You Like A Cup Of Coffee? is one that comes to mind, and Ho Goo's Love (for a similar male lead); When The Camellia Blooms, also (again, for a similar lead), though I'd say the mystery is darker and ends more sadly (not for the leads, it just ends more dramatic as far as the mystery goes). Weightlifting Fairy has a slower pace like this one, too.
Why was the reveal of the culprit so underwhelming?
Cause it was the backdrop for the drama, not the point of it. It was really about friends and relationships coming together after years apart, and the mystery just serviced the plot so this could happen. :)
As someone who is a lover of cinema....damn....they brought it. There is so much to say, but one thing that I…
There actually is hope for those who don't love it by the end of the first three episodes, cause I'm one of them! It just got better for me the further I got. :)
The Queen is fire. One of the best FLs I've ever seen in a drama, definitely the best queen ever written (for a Kdrama).

Oh wow, yeah, that's a lot to keep track of! π Thanks for doing that!

Thank you! :)
I'm hoping watching it will dispel the confusion eventually... if it doesn't, the drama is lacking. (If people have to take notes to understand it, well, that's too much work to expect of viewers; well-written plots connect the dots FOR you). Here's hoping it'll get clearer! :)
After skimming the comments I'm relieved to find that most people are as confused as I am about the timelines. No one seems to have a consensus about what's going on! π Phew. I thought it was just me!
At this point I'm not bothered, because it's the beginning and a lot of dramas drop important details the further they get. And besides, they're so cute as is, that it doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense right now.
And all the leads are killing it! Even Tae Sung squeezed into my heart in Episode 4 (nice job, Song Geon-hee! π).
So, was it the accident from falling into water that caused her leg paralysis or a car accident? I'm so confused!…
Is this details from the webtoon? The flashbacks made it seem like she was saved by him from the water, and then she got paralyzed and was mad at him (hence the friend saying Sun Jae wanted to apologize). (??)
