I won't rate it until it's over, because many dramas start as 9s and end much lower. So, this drama will have to stay strong all the way through to garner an 8 or above for me. 😏

Yes, it is a fun twist, though when I go back and rewatch his scenes with her, some of his coldness towards her is a little confusing. It seems at odds with how he actually feels. I guess we're supposed to think he's awkward and embarrassed as well as a bit confused by her sudden shift in behavior. 🤷♀️
One of the trailers made me wonder if he time traveled as well... there's definitely still a lot of mystery to be unfolded over the course of the next 14 episodes!

I like not being tempted to binge (binge=sleep-deprived 😂), but I also dislike waiting. More than that, I am afraid to get invested just for it to end badly. That's the best part about starting a drama that's done airing: you know what you're getting into and aren't taking a gamble! But it's more fun on MDL to watch while it's airing (if it's good) cause then you can talk to people about it as it happens and discover with others which is so fun... *sigh*

I think he knows a lot more than we realized from the first two episodes. I like that there's a lot still to be uncovered, and they're doing a great job of piquing our interest to see how everything gets resolved and explained. It makes me want to watch things over again, in order to see how you could interpret his behavior towards her differently now that we know he knows more.

Yes, I saw all the great comments so I tried it. I've missed dramas that felt this way. The first two episodes were great! So cozy and well done. The leads have great chemistry already, too! I do wish they'd stop giving Kim Hye Yoon bangs, but I guess it makes her look younger, but I love her look without them! A minor, unimportant gripe. :P I liked Byeon Woo Seok in Record of Youth, and glad he's not another villain. He's been doing great so far!

It reminds me a lot of True Beauty, with the seemingly bad boy SML who falls for the girl just a bit too late. But it still feels fresh despite the similarities.
