I think if you still don't care for it by the end of Episode 2 you probably won't like the rest. But maybe wait…
Oh good! I'm actually behind you now cause I'm waiting for my sister to watch so we can catch up together since we had to skip two of our watching sessions. I might have done some peeking with Episode 8, though, cause I wanted to see all the fuss about the Vincenzo cameo. π
Whenever he returns with a drama he reminds us why he's the highest paid actor in Korea.
He just commands the screen; I don't know how he manages to be so consistently stellar.
It must be a combination of things; perhaps only the best creatives/networks/directors/writers can recruit him because he's so expensive, and they have to create a drama good enough to make them money after paying for him.π And if he's picky, this means the people creating the projects he picks are working extra hard to be worthy of his notice? π€·ββοΈ
I was totally ignorant of what occurred in south korea in the 80's. I only recall the Olympics of 1988, that's…
Ack, duh, I feel so dumb. The date is in the title. I just saw all the comments about 1950's and then forgot that the title said the specific year because I glanced at it so fast. Sheesh... I'll just go hide and be embarrassed now... πΆβπ«οΈ
Your comment makes it look like everything about this drama was already set but BTS hopped on the midway and suddenly…
I like BTS songs, but this stuff sounds like too much of a deep dive for me... do you think it could be enjoyed as a drama set apart from the BTS stuff?
Iβm struggling to get passed episode 2 & the episodes being 1 hour 30ish isnβt helping. Does it get better…

I've heard good things, but I tend to struggle with two genres of Kdrama: ghost/afterlife dramas and office dramas. For instance, I struggled with The Good Manager, Search WWW, Hot Stove League , My Mister, etc. I know they were excellent dramas and had fantastic acting, but they ended up just being so-so for me. I know this drama is funnier, but does it have a similar vibe to other office dramas?
