100% on your agree with the three kisses as you described. I've seen discussion + been part of a discussion about that ep 5 kiss. The beauty of that kiss was that it wasn't about lust. It was an extension of the conversation they had just before, not a break from it. Some discussed that they wanted more of that...and I think that they wanted a less playful display of affection that was long(?) and built up(?). Perhaps if ep 7 moments had seen more follow through? I'm only guessing wildly at this point lol.

The kiss in ep 12 that followed the Tilly Birds line from Pat felt just as you said too. I got butterflies watching it. It's one of my fav kisses because it wasn't anything fancy but still felt substantial and intimate.

I've been wanting to ship to the US for ages now... but phew $50 on shipping alone.... I might still cave because I need the box set + nong nao doll or key chain.

I think there might be some who prefer to see burning passion and sensuality as indicators of desire and I guess that's fine. However, I never saw anything wrong with their dynamic mainly because this is how I experience my relationships too. I prefer relationships where we're both playful and laid back with moments of sweetness. If I'm not messing with you, goofing off, etc then I don't like you aha. So it's interesting that people only saw a friend-only attraction between the leads outside of the ep 5 rooftop scene. I guess because they saw the capacity for the leads to have such heavy sensuality that wasn't ever quite replicated in the same way again. But that was never the essence of who they are nor their dynamic. Different flavors for different people, but this is 100% my flavor of romance.

BBS feels very complete. But if they did a special Episode…I’d love that. I’m crossing my fingers for 2023

I’m feeling so sentimental over this series. I loved the ride so much and seeing OhmNanon get teary eyed while thanking their characters and saying goodbye to bad buddy just makes me so soft. I love bad buddy so much and I loved spending time with you guys in the comments. 😭

I can find some common ground with your take on bad buddy. My least fav eps all come from the second half of the series…particularly 6,7 and 9. There were also things that I blantantly ignored even though it bugged me ( some bad editing and soundtrack choices). Also as an angst buff, I think P’Aof was generous about keeping it relatively light compared to the source material. (I have to remember that this IS a romantic comedy). I def agree that more critical comments will pop up because many will hold judgement until the end or try to understand the hype they don’t see. That happens with every show.

However, despite its faults it still made it on my list of comfort shows. I’ve watched each episode at least 6-7 times now and rewatch it again every time I get a friend to start the series. Aha funny enough my ex and I are watching from the beginning and it’s lead to interesting convos about our old relationship. I personally love ep 12 among others.

I was looking through my phone and I ran into a screen shot from Dec 11 when the rating was 9.2 ... it feels like a lifetime ago since aha.

The ep drops at 6:30am for me so nothing. But every other Friday I buy Thai milk tea boba from my fav boba shop for lunch. This week is boba week so I'll def enjoy that while I re-watch the ep.
