I watched the live stream live which didn't have the best subtitles since they were probably using a machine translator in the moment. When I watched it, I actually lost a lot of hope at the time for the Namnung x Sunny ship since I perceived Namnung to be more comfortable around Matheus as she would touch him a lot more and put her arm behind both of them equally iirc 🥲 Perhaps I read the body language wrong since I was also heavily focused on deciphering the subtitles

I saw people speculate that it's Tod and Matheus because of the height and the intro. In the intro it showed all four of them sitting at a pool in robes, seemingly in X Land, so I guess we have that to look forward to 🫠 Like, I think it'll make X Land more interesting, but I would rather see them have alone time together there. A double date dinner would be cool but if all four are sleeping in the same bed, that would'd be over kill

Yeah, I notice Namnung hesitates a lot, and I wonder how different things would have been if she was more decisive. BUT I also think it makes for an interesting narrative if Namnung and Sunny end up together. Because of her indecision, they're literally living out the real life trope of two girls chasing the same guy and making each other jealous because they actually like each other, or that's how the show wants to present it as. We might not have a love triangle if Namnung knew exactly what she wanted and didn't hesitate to get it. I feel like I'm watching a novel come to life, full of messiness, jealous looks, and cute moments where we wonder if it's friendship or something more. They would have one epic story to tell of how they ended up together, if it happens

I think Time could probably tell Namnung liked him, or at least initially before things got weird, from how Namnung sent him letters consistently and told him how she would've chosen him for X Land. I do think you're right, Namnung must have been confusing to the both of them. It's no wonder they gravitated toward each other. After the date next episode, I'm curious to see if Sunny will continue to gravitate toward Time now that she knows Namnung's feelings. Namnung might even be more decisive and bolder now that Sunny made a move towards her with the upcoming X Land date

I have watched the first episode and part of the second actually! I like how different it is with the matriarchy and role reversal between the FL and ML. It's a breath of fresh air seeing a bunch of sisters fight for the role of heiress rather than a bunch of princes for the throne

Since Joy had an interest in Sunny since day 1, makes me wonder if Sunny thought the lipstick mark came from Joy rather than from Namnung. She obviously suspected it was Namnung at first when she questioned her after, but from all of Joy's signals and Namnung's focus on Time, she might think it was Joy

Yeah, after watching that extra scenes for that episode, Sunny becomes harder to predict. And then she revealed she likes three people. I can guess who the two are, but I can't figure out the third. This was basically a confirmation for me that Sunny is romantically attracted to both Time and Namnung. My guess the third is either Matheus, Joy, or Tod.

As for the open relationship conversation, Time and Namnung didn't seem as keen about the open relationship idea I don't think. It makes me wonder how a relationship would work if she ends up with one of them. Could be a point of contention lol

If putting on a show means getting close to and choosing those who benefit her in competitions over those she likes is what you mean, I'm not entirely sure. I can tell Sunny wants to win, but I can't tell how far she is willing to go to do it. She never states who it is she likes, so when she chose Matheus for the 3rd competition, maybe it's only because he can hold his breath long, or maybe she chose him because she's also attracted to him and wanted to send him a signal. In dating shows, contestants usually choose the one they like when given the option, even in competitions, because they'd want to send as much signals as they can since there's no time. But since she also chose Tod in the 2nd competition because he's most athletic and she only likes 3 people, it's likely one of these two or both of them were chosen purely to win, so maybe that isn't the case for her and she is playing it safe and being subtle in her signals. Sunny could be doing whatever it takes to win and take the one she truly likes the most on a date. The next episode will give me a clearer idea I hope

I took Sunny's questions and "let's flirt" line in their room as girl talk for the most part. I didn't see it as substantial because she never showed those kinds of hints on screen outside the room. Outside the room, their attention was on Time🫠

They chose the judges for this show so well. I love how encouraging and understanding they are toward the contestants and even have their own ships 😂

I love your interpretation. If it's right and Sunny only feels friendship toward Time, I'm half expecting them to come out with a bunch of moments at the end between Sunny and Namnung that would've given it away and that the show only hid it so there would be an angsty love triangle storyline.

For me, I thought Sunny was attracted to Time the most in the beginning and her attraction toward Namnung was a lot less and on the back burner since Time was giving her signals while Namnung wasn't. Her attraction toward Namnung might've grown over the episodes since they spend more time together.

Why I thought this is because when Namnung came back with Matheus from xland, Sunny didn't appear upset but when Time was having a moment with Namnung in the pool, she looked upset. Could also just be the editing idk. So I presumed she liked Time over Namnung. Sunny also marked him with lipstick and they've sent letters and looked at each other a lot. She talked about him in her interviews even from the beginning episode but never Namnung until recently.

I couldn't clearly decipher Sunny's body language toward Namnung vs Time because she doesn't spend much time with Time and when she does during the date, she was leaning into him and intertwining their hands. It's why I'm so eager to see the next episode to see the difference in how she acts with Namnung on a date.

I guess I saw Time's answer to the drinking game as not impulsive. I think he's so senseless too lol which is why I thought if he had time to think about it, he'd still totally give the same honest answer believing it wouldn't land bad. Looking back, he might not have said that if he gave it thought. I was giving too little credit. The latest episode where he walked Sunny through his logic on why he chose Namnung for the xland question over her while seeming like he expected this answer to go well was what really played into my interpretation

I noticed that about Namnung too that she reacts well to proactivity which is why I don't think she'll end up with Time at all. They're both head strong indeed and barely had a friendship and were already having troubles, can't imagine them being together long if it somehow happened

I'm curious, do you think Time's date with Sunny went well or did it lessen her attraction toward Time? Because if she chose Namnung for xland over Time who I thought was her #1 choice with Namnung in 2nd, that date must not have been the best right?

I can definitely see what you're saying. He expects Namnung to choose him yet he doesn't choose her when he gets the opportunity. She hurt his pride by "choosing" Matheus so he starts going all in for Sunny, and this in turn hurt Namnung's pride which led to tension between them. Namnung and Time are both prideful and if they feel rejected, it'll put them off but the difference is that Namnung still tries. It's possible he felt less for Namnung after his pride got hurt and that's why he pursues Sunny but I could be wrong. I see Time as not impulsive, but someone who is honest but tactless and is too prideful to resolve the issues it causes. Like telling Namnung directly he's interested in others, not just her or when he answered the fall in love and one night stand question when he didn't need to. He wanted to get his feelings to be clear to everyone but that clearness is tactless. It'll make them feel like they have to compete for his attention which, yes, is the point of the dating show but it's not going to do him any favors making them feel that way. I don't think he means to intentionally hurt Namnung which is why he offers to drink her alcohol for her after seeing her reaction

This latest episode revealed so much about a lot of the contestants such as their relationships with each other, who values loyalty or strategy in the room switching event, and we got to learn Time's backstory. A very phenomenal episode

I was so sad when Namnung was in distress because Sunny disappeared without a word, and then when Sunny came back to an empty room and began looking for Namnung late at night, like you could hear the worry in her voice as she kept calling for her. I'm so relieved that it was Sunny who chose Namnung to go to xland because her feelings toward Namnung haven't been obvious until now. Namnung made the first known move with the drinking game kiss and Sunny made the next move with xland, this ship might just sail ⛵

That kiss was insane, Namnung finally made a move and I hope it puts her on Sunny's radar. It's funny that they're always going into the bathroom together to talk afjdnkecisnakznsakId. I love that they have a good relationship and talked it out instead of letting boy troubles get between them

Also, Time likely chose Sunny because we see her white nail polish when Time guides her hand during the date. Their kiss in the intro hasn't happened yet so I knew them getting closer was coming but I'm not ready especially after he wronged them 😭 After this ep, we can probably cross off the Time x Namnung CP with how he set her pride on fire

I'm so curious to see how everyone interacts after that crazy night omg. Like why couldn't the episode be longer, the Namnung x Sunny shippers are finally winning for a change

I saw comments similar to yours, and I was curious why people thought she'd be a gl actress one day? I found it interesting because I thought she only had straight CPs before and I couldn't find any content that would suggest she'd get into gl acting but people saw this coming somehow

The lighting is phenomenal. The blue and yellow-orange tones throughout the scenes remind me of the different colors of a car's headlights. It also reminds me of the sun and moon which their last names represent, Zhao (sun) and Mu (moon)
