There was a time when kdramas had that spark now the scripts are so repetitive and boring... let's see how this…
they're all basically the same thing with different faces. it's only about once or twice a year that something different and truly spectacular comes out.

I love it so much but dislike the childhood connection. I wish he fell in love before finding out about her. Now…
the childhood connection trope almost always finds a way to spoil a good romance. it's so unnecessary.

most kdramas have an issue of poorly developed villains because they always wait till the last minute to reveal the villain. since this show has already revealed theirs, I hope they'll take time and care to flesh him out well. give him a full personality, motives, plans, etc. that so many kdrama villains lack. i dont expect anything groundbreaking or revolutionary from this show, but it should at least be good.

Title Would You Marry Me? Spoiler
I just saw the dumbest white truck accident ever. the truck driver saw the car coming . he saw that the car was being driven recklessly, swerving along the road. rather than stop or slow down, the truck driver just kept going and going. didn't even try to avoid the car. this show is clearly ful of tropes and i dont mind, but the execution matters a lot. the white truck trope was executed very poorly here and it's so annoying cos it looked so avoidable.

another thing about this drama that ticked me off: during the cooking competition plot, the Korean villains (Jesan and his gang) kept saying that the Korean cooks were going to lose. they assured the Chinese envoy of this fact and kept repeating it among themselves. they sounded so sure, as though they were going to go out of their way to ensure that outcome. then they just sat around and did nothing to make them lose. what kind of villains are these who just leave their plan to fate. i even thought they had some plans brewing, maybe sabotage or something, but they did absolutely nothing. pathetic. they sent assassins on the first day, and made no other efforts when that failed. just another run of the mill villain who lacks innovation and foresight. everything about this show was pretty run of the mill🄱

i see what they did with this one 😭 there are some lines and some scenes and some tropes/essence in it that…
i agree with you 100%. its overhyped and overrated. one of the worst dramas I've watched this year.

The drama as a whole was okay, although (unfavorable) comparisons to "Mr. Queen" were inevitable. But I…
i also found it quite annoying. it was all so illogical and that's why I simply can't take this show seriously

The drama comes from a webtoon, and you implied she could’ve attacked the villain, but she didn’t know how…
youre so right, except I don't think it need more episodes. it just needed better writing. the romance fell totally flat for me cos she always felt super uncomfortable in their scenes, and she never acted like she had any feelings for him whatsoever. she just randomly told him that she loved him with no build up. all the emotions were just one sided until the last episode.

you dont need to know how to use a sword to simply plunge it through someone's chest. it's not rocket science. also, there were three of Jesan's goons on the floor that the king had defeated. she could've taken one of their swords. so yeah, the point does add up.

I really need you to stop lying šŸ¤” and you can dislike a drama or hate it but atleast be HONESTEdit to this…
if it looked real to you, I'm happy for you. I watch a lot of Hollywood shows and tv, so im used to well done effects. ive also seen lots of kdramas with superb effects.this was just not it. infact, all the effects in this show were either excessive or mediocre. like the scene in the final episode where shes being transported back to the future. it did not look good AT ALL. we can agree to disagree, but don't say I'm lying cos you dont see with my eyes.

it takes a lot to make Jung So Min unlikable, but this show has made it seem easy. Her character in this has nothing…
You're kidding, right. This a person who basically planned out their entire life just to have her hopes and expectations shattered by the selfishness of someone she trusted. She invested time, effort, love and even money into making it work. so even if that's all she's got going for her, it's still a lot. do you know how long it would take to pick up the pieces of your life after such a heartbreaking experience? Unlikable??? We must not be watching the same showšŸ˜‚.

How do the FL’s always date/Marry the worst type of men in the first couple of episodes. Like that man had zero…
thank youuuuu. it's ridiculously unrealistic. the way he treated her during and after their break up made me wonder if he ever treated her with any respect during the relationship. it says a lot about her own character and her own self respect. they did the same thing in king the Land and it was just as ridiculous. it never works and its unnecessarily overdramatic.
On Bon Appetit, Your Majesty Oct 17, 2025
im not sure who handled the effects, but the blood work was just ridiculous. they didn't even try to get the color right. and most characters looked like they were just letting their mouths leak out red juice. the quantity of "blood" coming out of their mouths was just too much.

your kidding me right ? this cant be the ending that they spent money on it 🤔
the ending ruined everything. it's like they spent five minutes thinking about it and used whatever they came up with. oh well, mediocre shows deserve mediocre endings

The way he stopped right next to the car to ask "Where's your wife?" at the end of episode 2. that was diabolical and he knew exactly what he was doingšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

As a king, he has to be trained to fight . He’s skilled in archery, led a purge, and dances gracefully like…
the difference between him and his uncle is that his uncle never takes on 3 highly trained assassins at once. I dont have a problem with his ability to defend himself. why are you choosing to ignore the main issue I've stated. have you watched Dear Hongrang. in that show, Hongrang fights about 20 assasins at once, im not even kidding šŸ˜‚. but i didnt question it because he is a trained killer himself. he's undergone far harder training than everyone he encounters, so even if i know its not possible in real life, I can still accept it but this is literally A KING. hes never gone through the kind of training that assassins go through.even if he's received combat training, IT'S NOT ENOUGH TO FIGHT PEOPLE WHO'VE BEEN TRAINING PROFESSIONALLY FOR YEARS. I don't know how else to explain this to you. okay, let's use Mr Queen for example, assuming you've seen it. the king there had a very difficult childhood, and he received advanced combat training because he was actually planning to battle his enemies one day. its all about good character writing, and this show didn't write his character well enough to explain or justify his advanced combat skills. he just had them for plot. you know I'm right. you jist like the show too much to admit it, and that's alright šŸ™ƒ

ā€œleading a purgeā€ didn’t mean he personally took up a sword and fought enemies in the palace. He simply ordered the arrest, exile, or execution of political rivals. and please, you can't seriously be trying to compare the basic, casual training he received to the years of diverse, arduous training carried out by an actual assassin. dancing and archery are carried out by royals recreationally, at their leisure. he may not simply "sit down and do nothing", but no amount of training he received would suffice to stand in a fight against trained killers, talk less of three at once. that is unless he was a warrior king, which we know he was not. I can let it slide cos the entire show is just ridiculous, but you trying to frame it as something truly possible is just laughable.
