TBH, I am getting a bit tired of waiting for the FL's Power(!) to be awakend!! More than half of the series is gone and we are still seeing the FL being consistently rescued and protected by the MLs. Getting a bit tired of this narrative !! Yes, the series has season 2 and the storey will carry on, but I like it when each season can hold it's own. The MLs are hot as hell, the CGIs are good and I will ofcourse watch till the end but I hope the story picks up.

After watching I was googling about the movie just to read some comments of other vieweres. I got to know that the script is semi-auto biographical and the writer has passed away from the cancer. It made me quite sad. More so knowing that he probably faced such un-empathetic behaviour from his near ones. But on the positives, I got to know a bit more about the photographer, writer, editor, film maker and visual artist Julian Lee. What a life and such an inspiration. The movie makes much more sense now. I hope the movie finds wider audience and also the work of Julian Lee.
The movie puts light on the struggles of a lonely person fighting for his life, identity and desire to live. Certain things that needed more explanation (my opinion), for example why is the brother such a douche!!!???, Why does Lim have no other freinds? Why is his relationship with his father so strained? Why are his family members not invested in his fight for his life and treat him so casually (to some extent cruelly even)?? I think the film would have done better if it would have given a bit more context to these issues, becuase it is highly unlikely for family members to be this unaffected by a diagnosis as such. Having said that, if one can look beyond these and take the plot as is, then the film is a beautiful narration of a person who is going though the worst phase of his life. He is fighitng to find something that will allow him to live beyond his stoma. The isolation, loneliness, desperation, anger, frustrations etc. were depicted well. The movie ends on a positive note where we see that Lim has moved on, found purpose in his life and was able to break away from his toxic relationships. But again, I wish it had shown this part more. Becuase at the end the message is one can move through literal shit and find purpose in life. As a viewer I would appreciate that more. Nonetheless we can take this as a still frame of the time of desperation and the after part as a preview to what followed. A good watch for me cause I had a friend's dad who lived with stoma and was somewhat aware of what that entails. I think this will expose viewers to something that most people rarely think about, a stoma. If you have read this far, thank you!
Had high hopes, sadly they were not met. All the characters are so full of themselves, is the overwhelming thought in my head! It could have been much better but alas!
Argh, reminded me of the early 2020s. What a nightmare it was! The movie's heart is at the right place. Execution could be better but for a low budget film, it depicted the reality of millions of covid lockdown sufferers.
