KSJ reminds me of my first break up, that was hell. His pain is palpable, raw and daunting. I hope he finds solace in himself first before Ji Woo crawls back to him. What ever JW's reasons were he is too cruel at times. But that's how this character is saying ruthless, hurtful things in the spurr of the moment. I hope there is some significant character growth for JW. You cannot hurt someone like this even when you are breaking up. That's wrong.

Quite dark. Why is it even catagorized as a BL! I did not enjoy this, I mean the subject matter was not meant to be enjoyable I get it, but the movie made me feel very uncomfortable in a bad way. No redemption! Just darkness ... no repurcussion also ... anyways. Not my cup of tea.

Title One Summer Night Spoiler
In my interpretation the characters of Jae Sung and Tae Kyu symbolise North and South Korea. Much like the love…
Your explanation makes so much sense. I did not think of the capitalism comparison but was thinking along the North and South Korea comparison angle. But the ending really bothered me. I am very much ok with movies not having optimistic endings but this was too convenient. I felt it escaped the complexity of the rest of the movie. The explicit sex scenes also carried the narrative of ownership. At the end the movie made me sad about the state we are in. Seems like we have options but no choice. Thank you for your post. I appreciate your insight.

Title Rak Diao
It definitely wasn’t flopping, it had pretty steady growing ratings (higher than KinnPorsche for exemple). Maybe…
Really, I had no idea! No wonder the ending seemed so abrupt. Awwww ..... just one more episode of them together and their banter in love I would have been content. Nonetheless it was enjoyable.

Title Rak Diao Spoiler
I read good things about it and then binged it. I enjoyed it a lot but the ending was abrupt and I needed a little bit more fluff. But Rak is my favourite character hands down. His restrained acting, gentle smile and puppy eyes ... ah soooooo good. TBH to me it felt like a comedy sitcom with a same-sex couple. Except the accidental kiss on Ep 14 it did not have any BL like treatments. Yes there was a girl character who fantacized about them but she actively never did anything to get them together. Whatever the intentions of the makers were I enjoyed the treatment.

I am not sure what was the point of the movie! I was quite bored throughout and skipped through certain parts. In any case no shade intended for anyone who has enjoyed the movie. It was not for me.

I also liked her character much and just got to know that she has passed away from your post. May she rest in peace.

A heart warming, inspiring story. I wish there were more interactions between HB and C. Specially at the end where he had conversations with everyone except him. They had a volatile relationship and i felt it needed some closure. Nonetheless a very good watch.

I enjoyed the movie very much. I was so afraid for Jonathan. I kept on thinking someone help this child, he needs help. I felt he was slipping through the crack. The ending was left open for interpretation, and that can be frustrating but I was ok with it. This is a complex situation and there is no simple solution to it. I interpreted it as a glimpse into the lives of the three characters and it will continue further. They will figure things out eventually. As for viewers we got to see this part of their lives where emotions and lives are all tangled and messed up. I loved the cinematography and production. Acting was brilliant. I am happy that I stumbled upon this one.

Title Hellbound Spoiler
The scene where the parents sacrifice themselves for their baby is so emotional 💔💔
Yes, it was one of the best scenes of the show. It reminded me of a very tragic fire incident that happend in my city couple of years ago. One evening there was a sudden gas cylinder explosion on a busy street. The fire was fast and ferocious. One toddler was wrapped in between his father and uncle. They did it to save the child from fire but unfortunately all three died. When they were rescued the toddler was found in between the two brothers. I read about this, pictures were never published. But this scene instantly reminded me of that incident. Reality is much more sad, I guess. I was happy to see that the baby survived in the show.
