I enjoyed the movie very much. I was so afraid for Jonathan. I kept on thinking someone help this child, he needs help. I felt he was slipping through the crack. The ending was left open for interpretation, and that can be frustrating but I was ok with it. This is a complex situation and there is no simple solution to it. I interpreted it as a glimpse into the lives of the three characters and it will continue further. They will figure things out eventually. As for viewers we got to see this part of their lives where emotions and lives are all tangled and messed up. I loved the cinematography and production. Acting was brilliant. I am happy that I stumbled upon this one.

Yes, it was one of the best scenes of the show. It reminded me of a very tragic fire incident that happend in my city couple of years ago. One evening there was a sudden gas cylinder explosion on a busy street. The fire was fast and ferocious. One toddler was wrapped in between his father and uncle. They did it to save the child from fire but unfortunately all three died. When they were rescued the toddler was found in between the two brothers. I read about this, pictures were never published. But this scene instantly reminded me of that incident. Reality is much more sad, I guess. I was happy to see that the baby survived in the show.

Just finished it. I found the subject matter to be very original. A complex show, that leaves a lot open for interpretation. A 9/10 for me.

Taiwan does make some very good bl contents. Unique story and great acting. I am empathising with all three characters at the moment and low key wishing they end up all together 🙃😊. I hope this series get more attention.

My two cents: Once I was with a person who would "withhold" information from me, hide incidents thinking that I would not be able to handle it, it would be too much for me etc. To "protect" me was the reason for such behaviour. I didnot know the terminology, infantalize then but now I feel it was something similar. After some time I realized this and decided to end the rationship. But before that I clearly explained why this kind of behaviour was not OK. Bottom line Kuea finally did the right thing but we all know its a love story and next episode they will be holding hands and kissing 😀. In reality though it is better part ways ... ...

Agree with you. A could could clearly tell the girl, I love someobe else and moved on. The girl also asked him. But instead of giving her a clear answer he said I will go with you if you ask me to! Why?!! It appeared to me that A was not telling the girl because he was waiting for a confirmation from N and only after he received one he will let go of the girl completely. I did not like it. There was no need to be doing it in this way.

I am barging in with my two cents here 🙃. What your friend and you said about having experience to read these scenes s as romantic makes sense. Personally I found the most romantic scene (of these lots) to be the morning after scene where Lian was getting dressed and Kuea was under the wraps apparently not dressed. A couple needs certain level of comfort, trust and closeness to be doing that. I appreciated that scene. Hehehehe ..... I would say experience had a certain role to play in these appreciations 😀.

I also wouldn't call it a typical bl. It is a mlm story with real portrayal of what they face in conservative societies. It was a story of hope and representation. It was not a fetishized version of gay romance.

Just finished watching. Enjoyed it much. A great story, good actors, good direction ... that's it, that's all you need to make a good series . It filled my heart.

We don't yet know if there is a bigger motive in keeping Porsche around. I am hoping there is. But at the moment they are in the process of grooming him and he is in the process of accepting that he really has to do it. Also in the episode Kinn did say lets look at his progress till Big gets better when all Porsche's score came out to be average. And I am one of those fans who is not so happy with the rating of 8.1, but I try (sometimes fail) not to take MDL ratings seriously. It can be all over the place. That's my two cent 🙂🙃.

Agreed. Porsche in the first episode in general has been placed as a person having fun and cracking jokes, flirting etc. He has responsibilities but knows to have fun too. He has been forced to take this job and clearly has disrespect for Kinn and the work they do. He is trying to protest in ways he can. I enjoyed the 2nd episode, I did not feel like it took away from the subject matter. Its episode 2 and they are still world building.
