Gao Tu's situation makes my heart sad. Yes, that's the purpose of the character's story, but the actor is playing the part so well that I can't help but feel deep sympathy for his situation. Wen Lang is eventually going to regret every single mean word and action he's taken and that will be good to see. As for Shenyou, he's up against a mate that's formidable.

These gentlemen are really doing an excellent job, and it's clear that the production team cleaned up the editing, dubbing and subtitle issues that were a problem during the past few episodes. This episode, though short, is worthy of a solid 10. Pure entertainment from start to finish.

Chi Cheng is now madly in love with Suo Wei. Every time he looks at him, it's as though his eyes are screaming, "My god, I'm SO IN LOVE WITH YOU." Suo Wei's love for Chi Cheng is gentler, but it runs just as deep. It's taking over, though, and it's clear that this love will overrun his apprehensions toward being in a sexual relationship with a man. As for Xiao Shuai, he's already fallen for Cheng Yu and Cheng Yu, the cunning scamp that he is, is withholding his affections to force Xiao Shuai to acknowledge his feelings. This way, once Xiao Shuai steps forward, he won't be able to pretend that he doesn't want to be with Cheng Yu.

Suo Wei's falling hard and fast while planning to get Chi Cheng to fall for him. Suo Wei's shenanigans are going to be his own downfall-- let's hope for his sake that Chi Cheng will be there to catch him when that eventually happens.

I'm really loving the chemistry between Tontae and Victor,. NanKrai's love for Tontae is evident, but is it true love or attraction? Victor and Tontae's bond, while new, is based on true affinity-- they have the same sense of humor, are both sweet and generous, and also enjoy new people and experiencing the wider world. For Victor, that's a reality he's already living, while Tontae longs for this in his heart. Nankrai is comfortable remaining in his small community his entire life. If he doesn't change, how can he end up being the right life partner for Tontae?

The actors did such a beautiful job in this episode, which was a roller-coaster of emotions. Unexpressed emotions can lead to so much misunderstanding. It's easy to say that it's contrived for dramatic purposes, but humans do tend to behave in this manner to avoid rejection.

The Agony of Miscommunication could have been the title of this episode. Yes, it's often an overused trope in dramas, but this is also something that occurs often in real life, as we humans tend to guard our vulnerable hearts fiercely to avoid heartache, which often leads to avoidable heartbreak.

So many miscommunications are caused by fear of rejection or inability to recognize/accept one's own deep need for loving connection. Love doesn't need to be a raging storm that tosses us to and fro. It can be as gentle as a summer breeze and, often, it is gentle love that heals us. That is what this entire series represented to me.

Beginning to see the issue here.... one being drawn to the other due to missing someone they loved deeply and lost. It's a love based on replacement, which can lead to disillusionment and pain. Life's complicated, y'all....

I was not expecting this series to be as well done as it has continued to be. every episode has been an taut tapestry of emotions. I read a lot of reviews of those who detest the mother character, but I am really appreciating her, because I can see that she's modeled after Elizabeth Taylor's character in WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF and the actress portraying the mother is doing a stellar job of bringing the emotional rollercoaster of an alcoholic artist to life.
