Title Ichiban Sukina Hana Spoiler
But they seem pretty sure that they're not each other's type (that moment was so fun)... Casting-wise, I can see…
I always assumed that saying "you're not my type" is just a way to say that you're not interested in them/don't see them that way.

It's not really about the "type", they're just not interested, and needed to say it.

I do agree that we haven't seen enough of their dynamic together, though. We do see a lot of scenes where they talk and are alone together, but nothing really happens like the scenes with Momiji/Tsubaki, Yoyo/Momiji or Yoyo/Yukue.

For the moment, we haven't seems a single moment where Yukue has any interest in romance at all with anybody. Tsubaki just got out of a wedding so he's not really into a good mindset for it. Momiji got a looooooooong time crush on Yukue that he doesn't want to act on because he knows (assumemaybe? Yukue never clearly said she wasn't interested, just said she pretend she doesn't know because HE doesn't want to date her or confess) doesn't like him and wants to cherish their friendship. And Yoyo got a thing for Tsubaki which I find very cute.

But that's all. The only real romantic tension we have at all is between Tsubaki and Momiji, which the show seems to acknowledge from the number of times they laugh at themselves for the way they talk. But I do think it's just friendship and the writers are just having fun with showing a healthy friendship between two very sweet guys.
But nothing between the guys and girls at the moment (we're only half way, still got time).

I also always think about the begining of episode 1, where we see everybody as a child suffering.

Yukue said she was always bad at "making" a group of two.
Tsubaki said that people would not let him make a group of two (even if he tried/wanted to).
Yo-yo said she was always afraid to face up/confront people one-on-one.
And Momiji said that people never wanted to face up to him one-on-one.

I wonder how they will wrap up that.

I can't help but ship Tsubaki and Momiji - too bad that they won't become canon. But seriously, with their therapeutic…
With the way they act around each other, if they weren't straight, i would assume they have a crush on each other. 🤣
But I love their friendship that's for sure 😊

After watching the last episode, I now ship Tsubaki with Yukue and want them to end up together. I just like them…
But they seem pretty sure that they're not each other's type (that moment was so fun)... Casting-wise, I can see that couple, but scenario-wise, I think Yukue really needs that friend connection with Tsubaki—just a friend without anything else.
Maybe later in the drama, but right now I don't see them falling for each other (even if they do look good together). Same for Momiji and Yoyo, they obviously look good together and have chemistry, but I cannot see them falling for each other.

I could see from miles away that Yoyo would have a crush on Tsubaki, and it's cute even if I think casting-wise, Yukue & Tsubaki are endgame. Momiji having a crush on Yukue since their childhood is not cute, though. Just awkward.

I don't know if I like what they're doing with Momiji's character. He seems WAY too nice for his own good, but everyone around him & himself seems to twist it into a "he's not truly nice, he's just fake nice... he just doesn't want to be alone".
What?
How is that fake kindness?
There's always some kind of reason for kindness, and Momiji never did it with evil intentions or hurt people, how is that "fake", isn't that normal? We are nice because we want to be liked. I'm not talking about "not being an asshole", but "nice". Not being an asshole is just something that people do to survive in society as we want to be treated the same way we treat others. But making the effort to be nice is different. People make the effort to be nice to a certain person because we want to be their friend, because we want to be liked by them... HOW IS THAT BEING "FAKE" NICE?

The only fake thing in Momiji's story is the way people react to his kindness. He gets only negativity, abuse, and loneliness in return. How he lived for 20 years with only ending up with toxic people is a mystery.
I really hope we get something else for his story other than episode 4 because I got no answer. I can understand how the other 3 ended like that, but Momiji is still a mystery.

Why does he let people walk all over him all the while saying he likes them and that they are his friends? Why does he accept all that toxicity in exchange for his kindness and friendship?
I really need some kind of answer right now, because that episode gave me nothing, except for the fact that he is still way too nice for his own good.

I hope we get a moment in the show where someone clearly tells him that being kind to someone because you don't want to be alone is NOT "fake" kindness and that he needs to stop with that guilt. I'm afraid the writer really thinks that Momiji is some kind of manipulative popular/loser guy just because he wants something in exchange for his kindness. I hope I'm wrong because this is bullshit. Kindness is not a feeling that appears out of thin air. You need some kind of reason to be bad, but you need some kind of reason to be especially nice, too. Even if it is subconscious. The only problem with Momiji is that he thinks way too much and analyzes himself way too much, so he understands those subconscious feelings and feels guilty about them.

I really hope we get more time on him because I feel like he's the character that is the weakest in terms of writing. Like the writers don't really understand what they do. I really hope I'm wrong pleaaaaaaaaaaase write him well. T^T

I bet the two from the four will be made into a couple while the rest is brokenhearted.
Unfortunately, the teaser for the drama says it is about "love and friendship" so... We will definitely see love stories.

Title Yuria Sensei no Akai Ito Spoiler
Is a couple with Izawa Yuria and Ban Yuya desirable?
Well... Goro seems in love with Riku, so I think Yuria will divorce him when he wakes up after some talk and some drama. But Idk if she'll date Ban. I don't think their affair is good for them, they both seem way too nice to not feel guilty about it even if their feelings are pure and their significant others are already cheating on them.

Surprisingly, it was a super charming first episode. I love the time we spent on the heroine and the fact we saw so little of Michieda (even if I'm watching it for him) because it actually feels like we are following her journey as a person trying to change herself, and not as just a 30 yo who's pinning on a guy 10 years younger because he showed her a little attention. :)

Just finished the first episode, and it is cute... But the age gap is too much for me.

It's just "grooming" to me. The girl is obviously not doing anything wrong, but he is obviously a child with no parental figure in his life, his gorgeous and young aunt-in-law appears and gives him the love he craves.
He is OBVIOUSLY going to fall in love with her. He is 16, he's old enough to see her as a woman, without having the proper emotional background to healthy deal with her.

The problem is the aunt falling for him too. He is currently 16. Even if she does not fall for him before his 18th birthday (which is still way too young), it's still "grooming", even if she did not intend it.

(I know it's not exactly grooming following the correct definition, but I don't know another word for it).

It's a shame. Would have liked the story if the guy was at least 20 when they met.

The comment section of this movie is so fun.

It's either "master piece! Amazing acting!" or "meh". No in-between 😂

It was.... not a very good movie. Not even a good cliché shoujo adaptation.
I went onto it knowing the acting was going to be kind of cringe, but I was surprised by the female lead. She was truly cute and touching, I really expected bad acting from her. But she really is getting better. I have a lot of respect to the actress to continue acting and not break character during her emotional scenes with.... hm... her co-star because of his level. 👍
Raul is ... I'm pretty sure he's forced by his agency. I felt like I could feel in his every movement the fact he hated being here. I mean, it wasn't just bad acting, it was absolutely horrible. I hope he'll continue to be able to focus on what he like (modelling).

I also hope we'll have a more faithful adaptation of the manga in the form of a drama in the future. I felt like they really went too much the damsel in distress way compared to the manga.

Anyway, the acting was too bad to say anything else. The secondary characters weren't that good either. Except Bando rRyota and Hotta Mayu.

I just hope that we won't have the "he's not his twin but his other personality" twist ... I'm tired of this one.
THANK YOU !!!!

They're all kind of crazy so not very surprised about his reason. 🤣

When I remember about the first episode when they're in the bath and Hisame touched Tori's scar, and Tori who freezes at his action... HOW COULD HE BE SO CHILL?

They're pretty much telling us that Hisame is in love with Tori.

Now that we know how Tori acts so nice to his friend who almost killed him, he's just proving Hisame's words about him being the nicest of them all. Tori most likely hides his scar to not make Hisame feel guilty...

Fun drama! The characters are hard carrying the story though, the cases, directing, and rhythm of the story are not very interesting. The dialogue and characters are the only thing that kept me in.
Very surprised at the last episode, but I loved it. It became the best episode for me.

Loved the main quatuor.

I wonder if there will be something after the last episode, with the amazing cameo at the end.
