I liked it.
Tbh, I watched for the cast, and I think it's the best way to enjoy it. The story is not very interesting, but the characters and their interactions are super fun to watch.

The chemistry is sparking between everybody, it's pretty amazing.

is it still worth it to continue watching? watched until ep 15 and stopped since then cause of school stuff, but…
I really like it?

I don't remember what happened around ep 15, but I think Geats is super fun to watch.

Kamen rider series is definitely better than the sentai series!! In story, characters and so on...is there a reason…
I feel like KR's target audience is larger. They want to attract children to adults.

Sentai is definitely for younger children

I don't think that the steamy scenes can be considered "sex scenes"? I mean, before watching the movie, I saw…
There is sex scenes, but not porn scenes.

The bathtub scene is a sex scenes to me. Obviously we don't see it, but we can hear, and what happen before ???????? 😯

It's sexy as hell. Not porn, but it's still super embarrassing in a theatre. 🤣

Same for the last scene under the transparent sheets.

I don't think there was a lot of "kiss" scenes, I was actually disappointed in that. All of the few kiss scene we had were immediately turning into sex.

I wanted more everyday cute scenes. Playful kiss, good morning kiss, good bye kiss. I feel like it's the best ones. ✌️

(I'm not against sexy stuff but tbh it got me out of the movie, especially when there wasn't enough communication and alone sweet scenes between KiyoHira)

Hmmmmmmmmm.... What to say.
It's not a bad mavie at all. I think it's a nice ending to the story.

But as a sequel to THAT drama? Hmmmmmm.... I can't say that I wasn't a little disappointed.

After watching season 2 which felt SO right, I feel like I'm back at season 1.

Everything felt too much, with too many things happening outside of their control. I kind of wanted them to talk, and exchange with the people around them. Not to have such over the top problems, and for their relationship to be magically solved thanks to the power of climax (and not the power of communication).

There was also some moments that felt too long, where the director somehow wanted to show their skills. It didn't work.

Maybe my negative feelings are too much because of the theatre setting. Tbh, from the last 2 seasons, I didn't expect to have sex scenes during the movie, just some kiss or cute skinship. But there was, and I cannot be more embarrassed next to that middle aged japanese woman while listening to Kiyoi's moans.

Movie.... Why re you doing that to me 😭

But the cute scenes were REALLY CUTE. I loved that !!! The friendship scenes and family scenes were the best.
I loved the photographer characters he was a good add to the casting, and felt super right as he is outside of the wtf happenings and is just here to have deep conversations and funny moment with Hira.

It was truly Hira's movie. That's why I'm even more disappointed about the fact we don't have more of Hira-Kiyoi communication... 🥲

I feel like I'm doing a super bad review of the movie. But it's not a bad movie at all, like I said !
It was just different from what I excepted and I think watching it at home alone or with friends is a 100 times better than with strangers in a dark room lol
Saw the movie in theatre last week, it was reeeeeaaaally cool. I actually enjoyed it more than the 1st one.

Because they cut a story arc into two, we have the time to explore the characters and to get attached. I really hope the climax in the next movie is gonna be amazing, as the movie that precedes it is on point.

I saw in the interviews Kitamura Takumi talking a lot about how it is really Nijiiro and Kento's movie, and I agree that they are the center of it. But Takemichi was really cool, too?

He felt really determined while also being understandingly terrified.

No but seriously it was super cool. Everything felt a lot more stable and the rhythm was GOOD. The 1h30 passed in a second.

Title Pending Train Spoiler
I'm not surprised that some people are annoyed about some aspect of this drama, but those same aspect are what…
I like what the salary-woman said to Kayashima, about the fact that it's not weird he fell in love during such a time : because, right now, he truly feels alive.

He didn't feel alive, before, because of his living situation.

Now that he is fighting for survival, he can only feel alive. And when you are alive, you fall in love.

And I do like Hatano and Kayashima together. I do feel like her crush on the firefighter a little useless, but they didn't use that plot point to create weird jealousy stories and rivalry, so that's nice. 👍

I'm not surprised that some people are annoyed about some aspect of this drama, but those same aspect are what I love !

1) The too "idealistic" Shirahama that some comments seems to hate : I love him. At first, I wasn't really on board. Not that I dislike idealistic characters, but he seemed the perfect archetype, that is too idealistic, but kind of hollow inside, and always has a story arc where he despairs, and finally see the light thanks to his friends or so bs.

But he's not. He's actually an idealistic person who fully understand that it's hard to be like that. But try, and try again.

Now, I really love the character, and I think his duo with Kayashima works really well. And he rely on him a lot to be the realism to his idealism.

He doesn't think that he is right. But he acts like that because he knows that it's what the other people need. And because he is like that, Kayashima can be 100% realist and they can create this middle between realism and idealism.

2) The teamwork and the group atmosphere. I already said it, but I LOVE IT. I'm so tired of every single distopian-style/stuck on a deserted island-style dramas where everybody creates groups, and they all kill each other, rape each other, prostitute themselves, some weird cults appear, etc... It's always the same thing.
To have a drama that finally show something else is a breath of fresh air, tbh 😂

3) The "love triangle". I kind of like it? It doesn't take that much place. I'll put the reason on spoiler 😅

Anyway, I'm not at all disappointed at the moment !

I'm only two episodes in and I'm already disappointed... It's gone down the usual "what makes us human" and human…
But, isn't actually not "usual"?

This type of drama IS always "creating gangs, fight for survival, extra chaos and dystopia". So it's actual not doing the stuff that every other drama does 😂
Tbh, I was getting tired of it, so that's fine for me.

But if that's what you excepted from this drama, then, yes, it must be disappointing for you. 🥲

Interesting to hear the side of the writer because when I read the webtoon, I never imagined an actor with ABH’s…
Even while losing weight, he's still way too big to play someone who's supposed to be able to fly away just because of the wind. x)
But he's still a super good actor, and an adaptation does not have to be 100% exactly the same thing as the webtoon, so it'll definitely be good. Can't wait for the broadcast!

Maybe it's because I'm just a layman who doesn't understand the effect of bleeding out from your neck can have…
Maybe some organ failure due to the blood loss?

It's the typical Japanese crazy drama but with good actors, so it feels kind of weird lol
The directing is not too much, too. It seems a lot more quality has been put into this drama, so I'm expecting something new.

In the first episode, the protagonist is the only character I like. Surprisingly.
The roommate situation seemed forced upon him, and his ex is very violent. The only thing he could do here is call the police, but he seems way too kind to go that far. Their relationship seems weird, too. They don't really seem in love with each other, more like guilt/pity/obsession, but feel like they were very close.

The current girlfriend feels super sketchy, too. The poor guy will not have a good time. I feel the actress is the weaker part of the trio, too.

The thing that I disliked a lot, though :

The male lead is abused multiple times in the first episode, but he never defends himself. That is pretty normal in an abusive relationship, but I feel like the drama will not acknowledge the "abusive" part.
The ex is obviously crazy, but it seems more like a quirk and a consequence of something traumatizing happening... Like, I can see the drama continuing while painting their relationship as "quirky" more than "abusive". Just because the victim is the guy and the girl is cute and fragile.

Why would an ex move in with the other ex without previous notification and permission? On which planet is that…
From the first episode, there seems to be more of their relationship. The ex is absolutely crazy and super violent. But he wasn't that bothered by it, and he just cannot fully say no to her.

If it was the real world, I would say she is abusive and he has the mindset of the victim in an abusive relationship, and let her do what she wants even if he knows it's not right.
But in this drama world (where a man can never be victim of abuse, the girl is just ~quirky~), they have a secret and I think he lets her do what she wants because of some past incident. Either he feels guilty about something, or pity her a lot. Or both.

Title Doctor Cha
Even if EunSeo is not his daughter, he still cheated on her for YEARS. Even with " a lot of development", making…
I have the same feeling. For this type of drama, when the woman is a mother and has a certain age, we never see her in a serious romance after her divorce.

It's sad because Korea need some representation for divorced 50 yo who finds love again. But no, it's a country where women have expiration dates :/

Title Doctor Cha
I really want her to end up with Woo Hyuk, mainly because in this type of drama, the woman never gets a romance, they somehow end up with the "alone and happy as a strong independent woman ~~", as if you cannot be that AND happily dating.

I kind of want to see a drama where we see them divorce AND begin seeing another man. In dramaland, when the FML is of a certain age and/or has children, it's like they cannot have another relationship after a divorce. Like women have some kind of expiration date. This is sad :/

And if she ends up with In Ho, it will be the worst. We already have too much representation of relationships where the mother does not divorce, just because of the children or because they're "family" or because the husband gets "better".
