Dumb damsels in distress are annoying to me lol 🤣 I prefer stronger, intelligent and independent women, because that dumb fl topic is sexist. I don't see any dumb ml. Changing the topic, which story in WWWLS did you like the most?
true. i just watched the kdrama "run on" and i loved it so much because the leads were normal people. funny that…
Yeah! That has become an overused cliché. Scheming, rich people etc etc. If you want realistic stories, then I suggest Little Things, an Indian Netflix series about a couple in a live-in relationship. No unreasonable, over-the-top characters. It has 3 seasons. First two I've watched (first one is on YT). 3rd season I'm currently watching.

Which is why I'm liking Yanlin+Yitong's story the most so far (finished ep 6 as of now), followed by Chaoyue+Neo. Their story is about ordinary people trying to become someone they always dreamt of, while facing the obstacles that come in between. None of the characters are fairytale-like, just normal human beings living their lives while having their own goals, while Chaoyue+Neo's about campus drama, while in the present, they erased their memories (another sci-fi element, but still good). In the Jasper+Lan story, their characters were too perfect, and time travel, well.... I which this was a corporate drama set in an office, or a May-December one instead (the same topics in TRL), and there are much more mature concepts than time travel, and suits them better. And Ming Dao and Ying Cai'er's characters felt over-the-top to me. But I'm still watching them, not skipping any parts, as I still want to give them a chance. Not hating Jasper+Lan though. I like them, but they are my least favourite cp.
Wow if it were me I'd send her ex-boyfriend to jail just for stalking. Creepy as. How is this normal?
That's what Qi Xiao adviced Shen Ruoxin to do! But she said that it will adversely affect him psychologically. Thank god the ex redeemed himself and left yhe company (don't think this happenes in real life). But yeah, stalking is very creepy! Good thing they didn't romanticise it!

I totally agree with you. Unrealistically perfect characters are outdated now. It's better to see the lives of ordinary people, as they are very relatable. It's better to see that they are flawed, because everyone has one flaw or the other.
Wang Yan Lin and Li Yi Tong need to get reunited for a drama series - doesn't matter if historical, costume or…
Totally agree! Both of them are very talented actors. Haven't watched their previous works yet, but I'm most interested in their story. They are my second favourite pair, following Neo+Chaoyue. Btw, Yanlin's daydream in their story, when both of them were dancing to All Izz Well in Indian dress was so comical 🤣 literally cracked up watching that scene! And I, being an Indian myself, loved watching that scene, as 3 Idiots is one of my all timw favourite movie, never gets old at all! On episode 4. Looking forward to them, as well as Neo+Chaoyue.
This is an interesting show, where each couple writes their own love script. The concept is very good, as we see each couple's insights on romance.
My favourite is Neo Hou and Yang Chaoyue. Their interactions are the most natural. I liked seeing them bicker, because it's very entertaining, like a Tom and Jerry couple lol 😂. And they look so cute, and I've seen some clips of them before🥰😍 I'm liking Chaoyue's personality as she's very real and easygoing. Neo is more reserved, ofc because he's not very experienced with reality shows. I just watched the first episode of their drama, looking forward to how they progress. And that part in ep. 4 was HILARIOUS when Neo had to act cute for Chaoyue after losing the Kart race, and getting so embarrassed 🤣 poor chap! And them trying to ride the horse: Neo being successful in it, while Chaoyue being entirely inexperienced with it, and also, by coincidence, both of them, individually whispered a "secret" to the horse: Chaoyue: "Hou Hao is a pig." Neo: "Yang Yue is a pig" Me: 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 And that part was very sweet, when Chaoyue gifted Neo a blue basketball with drawings on it, as he likes playing basketball, and Neo surprised her by singing "Light" by Rocket Girls 101 (the cpop girl group Chaoyue was in) and gave her a headset (Although i felt that their offscreen parts in episode 6 was a little overstretched). I'm sure the crew must have planned it!
The second favourite is Wang Yanlin and Li Yitong. They have real conversations about love and romance. Their story seems the most interesting to me, so far. Can't ship them as WYL is already married now (the same day Qin Lan celebrated her 42 birthday 😂😂). So whenever I see their offscreen skinship, I'm like, "Bro, Yanlin gege! You're screwed." 🤣🤣🤣🤣 But I love their friendship. They're also as natural as the Neo+Chaoyue tandem, except that they don't bicker. I think they have the best story. No sci-fi elements, and there are lots of funny scenes. And why is Yanlin so funny? 🤣 When he screamed in the amusement park, then it reminded me so much of j-hope screaming while doing VR when Jin pushed him 🤣🤣🤣 (Watched Yanlin and Yitong dancing to All Izz Well from 3 Idiots (as this movie is very popular in China) in their drama and it was so hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and Yanlin kissing drunk Yitong on the bed when she still has toothpaste in her mouth 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣) Now I've reached that part where Yitong breaks her leg while practicing. Hmmm, the story is getting more and more interesting 😁😁
My least favourite so far is Jasper Liu and Qin Lan. I think most Qin Lan and Jasper Liu fans, and KQ shippers will disagree. But pls don't get me wrong! I have nothing against them individually and together and they're surely very good friends, and they are very mature people. They do have good chemistry and understanding of each other. But all this hugging and all, well I think it's kind of unbelievable. Like, I've seen that in their farewell clip, Jasper literally ran to hug her. I think this was unbelievable (he didn't have to do that). And Qin Lan's constant "Wow!"s when Jasper gave her shoes or when she was holding a heavy camera or when she went into a tent in the campsite etc etc look exaggerated. They got funny when video called Yanlin lol🤣 show saver Wang Yanlin! And also they were interesting when Ying Cai'er paid them a visit (another show saver Cai'er!)
Tbh one episode of Neo+Chaoyue and Yitong+Yanlin is enough for me, though I don't skip Jasper+Lan as I also want to give them a chance.
And if I offended anyone of you, I sincerely apologize. If you disagree or agree with me, then feel free to express it as everyone's opinion is subjective (just be nice). Thank you.
is your opinion based on 2 first episodes after which you dropped the show?in case of HMH and YCY it's better…
Yes. I agree. I find them the easiest to watch, along with Yanlin+Yitong. Their interactions are the most natural in my perception. And I like seeing them bicker 😂 others are more mature, yes, but it's because they are much more experienced, and a lot older than Neo+Chaoyue. And I like the fact that they are not pretending to be the "perfect" couple. Their arguments aren't THAT serious anyway.
Replying again very late, but maybe Neo seems superficial bc he's not very much experienced with reality shows. So I think he was feeling a bit weird or uncomfortable as the camera is recording his and Chaoyue's interactions offscreen, and he's not so used to that. Judging by the comments, Chaoyue helped him loosen up a lot, but he still needs more experience in reality shows.
At 22 she did a fab job. After MG it is big leap in his character. Compared to other actors I have always found…
Same here! Would like to see him in a character like Hu Yitian's in My Roomate is a Detective, or a male version of Mary Maloney in Lamb to the Slaughter, or Esther from Orphan, or Urmila Matondkar from Kaun, or Tabu from Andhadhun. But playing a psycho will be an overwelhming task

As far as I know, Dylan is open to new kinds of roles and concepts, and is ready to challenge himself. He said in an interview that he wants to play a villian, which will be very interesting.

Dylan is very talented. He is underestimated just because he's handsome, when he's much more than just that. I love his performances, even though my least favourite one is that of MTD as I'm not a big fan of stone faced MLs and, as per my perception, the writers wrote his character more as an eye-candy than as an actual protagonist (and he's a much stronger actor, he deserved better). My favourite is Qi Xiao, bc he's so sweet, kind and understanding, anyone will want to have a BF like him. Keeping in mind that Qi Xiao and DiDi's personalities are very different, this role was definitely a challenge for him, and he nailed it! And it's amazing that he got 7 protagonist roles in 4 years! Proud of him! His hard work paid off!
