Ok I read almost all the harsh comments & I actually agree with more than 50% of them, but surprisingly I still love this drama!!! Lol, am I a masochist? :D Or maybe it's because I read some spoiler-ly synopsis, both for the drama and the novel, so I kinda expected most of that. What I didn't expect was the fluffy romance for the first 10 episodes or so, that I enjoyed more than I should, so afterwards it was more painful from episode 11 onward! And also, I'm sad my theory, that she was pretending the whole way from the start to manipulate all people around her, was wrong, I guess she had actually lost her memories, oh well, at least I'm glad that the stupid amnesia arc is over!!!!

There are many such good wuxia, with jianghu politics, inner-fighting, etc., with interesting characters & good story (especially Jin Yong https://kisskh.at/people/46293-jin-yong , Liang Yusheng https://kisskh.at/people/47787-liang-yu-sheng , and Gu Long https://kisskh.at/people/47785-gu-long adaptations), but I don't think I know of anyone that also has cinematography & production similar to this one, or voice dubbing by the actors themselves!

On other specific recommendations, I personally enjoyed The Flame's Daughter (https://kisskh.at/21920-liehuo-ruge) and Heavenly Sword Dragon Sabre 2019 (https://kisskh.at/22656-heavenly-sword-and-dragon-saber), and I'm looking forward to First Sword of Wudang (https://kisskh.at/27915-first-sword-of-wudang)!


Edit: Also, obviously the Untamed has plenty of sect politics, a great story, and unforgettable characters, but that's xianxia/fantasy, so not sure if you're looking for something like that. Cheers! :)

No idea, haven't watched it yet. From comments I read, it may resemble Korean drama "Strangers from hell".

I actually love this kind of plots, at least in webnovels (I've read 1 or 2 with similar plot, but not this one), but I wasn't sure if the drama will be good, especially because I haven't heard anything about it yet, and because I haven't seen any of the cast in anything else. Heading in now!!!
