24 episodes still have'nt aired but already season 2 in planning . Knowing who's the writer , it's no surprise. Maybe the story will continue till S3 too like The Penthouse lol
Rated the 1st season 6/10 and for the sequel my rating flunctuate between 8 to 8.5. But I enjoyed watching this one more than its prequel. Especially the last 2 episodes .
While most of the time I still think the episode was too long & finishing each one sometimes felt like a chore. The best part for me obviously the acting of the main cast especially Lee Dong Wook & Kim Bum.
What I loved from S1 was the dynamic between Lee Yeon & Lee Rang and I'm so happy that we can continue seeing it here as their relationship became the main focus of the story in this season. Them was the reason I was able to finish this. I enjoyed watching love-hate relationship between Lee Yeon-Ryu Hong Joo-Cheon Moo Yong too. The cinematography in this one without doubt a perfect 10. I liked the colors,the costumes,the picturesque aspect of it.
So... as long as we get to see Lee Yeon & Lee Rang together in S3 ,I will watch it. If there's romance in S3, I hope there's an improvement in term of chemistry between JBA and LDW because it was non-existent in S1. To me what made this season better was this has little to no romance and just full of bromance.
Episode 16-17 orchid spins DFQ's childhood trauma and disregards how he feels. She's like oh nooooo, your dad…
Yup her plan did worked out. He finally know that his dad did what he did on purpose. Not to say what his dad did was not wrong but more like it was both right and wrong if you view it on a different perspective. The whole scene was so sad I still remember 😭
The first 3 episodes were a bit boring but the last 5 episodes were terrific! I would loved this more if only they did'nt kill my favorite characters [Spoiler Alert :LDY,HYJ 😭]
Plot: 8.5/10 (Not without flaw but the plot was addictive started from episode 4 to me ) Acting:10/10 (No weak link. All the cast did a fantastic job in their roles. ) Action & goriness : 10/10 ( Those fight scenes were just ..wow) Music: 8/10 (Background theme songs helped more in immersing myself in the story) Visual: 9/10 ( No complaints . I liked what I saw)
Definitely recommended for fans of action thriller drama. If you liked My Name and drama as such , you will probably enjoy this too.
I remembered had lot of mindfuck moments while watching Taiwanese original drama 6 months ago and the ending is still fresh in my memory 🥲. I think am still not ready to watch another adaptation of the same story but I like the cast......😩
I think Youku have amnesia about this drama. The only reason I could think of why till this day this drama is still not airing . No date ,no rumour whatsoever 🫠
Not a fan of JJY's acting and not familiar with the cast. I don't have high hope for this. Probably gonna watch only because of Xianxia's is one of my fav genre 🫠
Sighh...since finishing this drama almost 2 weeks ago, all drama I try to watch after looked so dull 😥. I need therapy which is an angsty drama like this one asap 🤧
