Just recently I watched his old movie Veteran (2015). He was a drug addict in that one and his acting was so convincing...years later , this happened . What a coincident.

What a perfect conclusion to the series!👏👏👏 I enjoyed both part the same but rated this higher for that sizzling romance & satisfying ending. Thank you Hong Sisters for ending this drama beautifully 😭. Glad this was my first completed drama of 2023. It took me less than 3 days to finish this one. Just shows how addicting & interesting the storyline was. Fortunately I waited for the time this drama nearly finished before I start my journey otherwise it would be an absolute torture to wait for the new episode because of the cliffhanger they ended each episode with 😂.

Newsflash : Thats how world works. Not all like the same thing. Not all hate the same thing. Everyone had reasons why they dislike something and entitled to give their opinion about it . It was their time,their money that were used to watch the drama anyway. Whether you like or you hate something why not we all agree to disagree in a positive way. Because both SDI & KHW will be busy with new projects (film, drama) so they had to cut this season short . This was said by SDI in the last episode. That reason itself was kinda weird to hear bcoz are'nt they supposed to plan ahead before starting filming this season on how many ep this will end and schedule their other works better . The way they abruptly ended this season was underwhelming tbh.

I'm convinced that everyone in that chaebol family done botox injections to look like their younger self of 20 years back. They're chaebol so must spent lots of money to defy the years 🫠
RR was a story about a poor man's soul who has travelled 37 years back in time to be 'reborn' as a chaebol grandson. With the knowledge of future we see his difficult journey to acquire his family's company only to realize it was all his coma dream when later he wakes up in his real timeline. We later learned that the reason for his 'time travelling' was to correct what he did wrong towards this same grandson 20 years back.
I am not really feeling this on spiritual level... just mildly enjoying this drama until episode 13 happened. What motivated me to keep going was the dynamic between JDJ and his grandfather, JYC. Their hate-to-love relationship was the most interesting part of this drama until they decided we can see it no more. That's where my tiny interest of this drama became lost in the wind. It did not help either when politic and bussiness genre (which consumed 95% of the drama ) were my least favourite genre.
Well , I managed to finish the rest because there's only 3 episodes left and thanks to the cliffhanger they ended each episode with which made me eager to start the next episode. Also, I'm not the one to give up thing when it's almost over .So, 7/10 for LSM and SJK's performance.
Good conclusion overall. I understand now why this show was called Alice in Borderland 🫠 The finale gave us a good explaination about why they're in the game but ngl some part of it confused me but it was okay as long I get the concept 😅
I enjoyed & liked S1 more than S2 . I think the games they played in this season were a bit dull, they rarely excite me if compared to the games in S1. Most intense episode to me was episode 7. The supreme court game had the most gory scene to me & confinement cell game comes second . I swear it was a disturbing ( & distracting) experience for me whenever that one naked guy (we get to see all except his middle front ) appeared onscreen 😂. Thankfully he only present in one episode. CGI was good as expected. My rating : 8/10.
I really enjoyed watching the first 10 episodes but it was a tedious task to finish the rest . I'm glad this was finally over.
The main plot about ML's little brother was stretched thin . Took 15 episodes to be resolved I got bored by the end of it . Maybe this would be better with just 12 episodes.
Don't like the way they wrote SML character. Not sure what they want us to see him whether as a psychopath who smiled after the death of his brother & tampering the evidence of his bad deed during and after the accident or just an ordinary human being with greed but killed two people because of the said ambition and then later crying heartfully after he realized his mistake. Really now you feel remorse?? 🤷♀️ Unbelievable.. He had so many chance to confess before but after the truth was exposed by the other people only he turned himself in. These two traits can't be the same person because a deep down psychopath can hardly show any remorse. Sure he was pitiful because of his bad childhood but there's no excuse for what he has done.
Don't like the way they wrote ML at the part where he did'nt shared the truth behind his little brother's death with his ex GF. Keep her wondering for two years after the incident of what she has done wrong to him for him to quit their 10 years relationship just like that. It was cruel and a selfish move on his part . If only he told her the truth, she would probably accept it & move on sooner without having any hope to get back to him later because she will know herself it was impossible.
Despite the issues I had with the show , there were few things I liked . The plot in the 1st half was quite decent. My favorite character here was Yoo So Ra . A comic relief of the show. She was honest to herself you can read her like an open book lol. The way she pursuing the man she loves I found myself rooting for her character all the way to the end . Glad she got her HE too. MIHY introduced me to the actor Lee Jun Young. I liked his acting and he was so cute when he smiles. I will probably follow his work after this. The OST also was quite decent . My rating 7/10.
Fast paced,super violent action movie that succesfully kept me at the edge of my seat most of time. The comedy part also nicely done. MDS's perfomance never disappoints while YKS as a hot villain , his performance was just wow. 8.5/10.
