I was one of the people who got excited prior to the airing of BM but when I finally watched this, it was truly a disappointing experience to me. I did not enjoyed 80% of the drama. Because I don't want my precious data used to download full eps go to waste so instead of quitting early I had to force myself to finish this one like I did with Snowdrop, Jirisan.
I don't feel the plot at all . They tried to do everything heroically but the execution just felt flat and cheap to me. That Big Mouse organization was only powerful in name but not in reality. Thanks to big mouths who overhyping this organization from the start, they made me expected more when I really should not. When the real BM was revealed , I was so disappointed . He had no charisma & no authoritative vibe as a person who supposed to be a leader of such organization.
Miho's death was cruel ,pointless and unnecessary. Can't they atleast wait until CDH got his punishment to kill off her character mercilessly like that? They claimed many got cancer as a side effect of that radiated waste water , most of them took some time before they died on their deathbed like that Tak guy but not with Miho. One day she just dropped and not too long , gone just like that. If they tried to show a lot of time has passed in prior to her death I don't buy it. She deserved better .
We never really see what they really do in that secret lab. What was that NF9 anyway? What was the end product and its use ? And that darn paper that started everything. I was rather surprised that other than Prof Seo no one else in Gucheon even bother to check water sample while this shit been happening for 30 years that made many lost their lives . Where were the victim's family members? I want to see few of them at least tried to oppose that 85 years old grandpa. Sure sure that grandpa was so powerful...
I don't get husband and wife vibe from the main leads. Their relationship was more like two close friends who supportive of each other.
The ending also was kinda out of place and so sudden. You would think 16 episodes with 1 hour of each episode would have less chance of having a rush ending but you're dead wrong . They just need 10 minutes, just 10 minutes to explain the most important part of the story. Meh. If they want to pull the same vincenzo ending to the bad guy, why bother tried so hard to be the good guy from the start .They should do it earlier so that not many episodes wasted just to get the bad guy behind the jail and BM would end at 12 episodes which would be doing us a lot of favor and save our time maybe I would rate this even higher than a 6. I don't really mind a realistic ending because in rl that ending would happen but I don't like the way they did it here.
In conclusion , BM for me was the most disappointing drama of this year. I don't recommend it unless you're a big fan of Lee Jong Suk or Yoona or Kwak Dong Yeon.

🙋♀️ Finished this 3 weeks ago and still can't move on from this .. I delved into Immortal Samsara right after finished this one (to avoid emptiness this drama left me) and guess what, now my withdrawal symptoms become double thanks to both...😭

Because this drama have yet found its correct watchers. Most ppl rated it low because this drama was not made for them (no standard on how to know this, need try & error so can't really blame them for rated this low) for not every drama is everyone's cup of tea. As for myself ,I really enjoyed this one . Link was not perfect but I liked the mystery,the plot,the pace &the romance .Backstories of side characters also were pretty interesting.
Ep 1 not so much fun but I really enjoyed watching this starting at Ep 2 . Ep 3 and 4 were the funniest so far. Kyungsu and Inyeop were effortlessly funny and adorable! They should starred in more variety show after this. I also loved watching friendship between Kyungsu-Dongyeon, Bogum-Yoojung.
I really enjoyed the recent episodes with special friend theme. Si On ,Hansun,Seung Hwan,Shinji and Do Hoon together they provided us a great laughter 😄

I've watched the interview with the director,Cheng Yi. Mr Director said in the Heavenly Realm this hobby was to show a childish side of YY and in the Mortal Realm ,TZ did the same because of muscle memory since it was his hobby in the Heavenly Realm 😃
Not really satisfied with these special eps but still this was better than just leaving the ending of IS at Ep59 because this pair deserved all the happiness in this world . Now off to watch BTS clips to cure withdrawal syndrome this drama gave me 🤧
My thoughts after finishing Immortal Samsara Part 2.
What a happy ending...Can't believe I faithfully watched 59 episodes of this drama just to watch that ending 🥲 ( I want to cry now 😭). I refused to acknowledge that was the end for our couple! I believe they're now are living happily ever after with 2 kids in the Mortal Realm after the last scene.
Sad ending not necessarily a bad ending right. What more, they both had achieved what their hearts wants at the end. Sometimes we have to make difficult choices to protect the people we love. Ying Yuan -Yan Dan couple showed to us this again and again in Immortal Samsara. Regardless of what happened ,they looked happy while making their last choice so I guess it was indeed a happy ending them. But where is Part 3 ?? I need them noww 😭😭😭
It was not fair for me to lower my rating just because of the last 10 mins of the last episode was not as what I expected it to be .I absolutely loved watching the rest of Part 2 ,even more than Part 1. Many scenes in this part touched my soul like when watching YY-YD at Heavenly Gallow receiving Anguish Blade Punishment, Ying Yuan's parent history, Zhi Xi's love for her sister etc. In the 1st part the plot was quite slow, only in 2nd part the plot moved at the pace that I liked. The romance in Part 2 also much better than Part 1. In the 1st part most of the time, I could not feel their great love toward each other , seems like they were just acting to be in love but in Part 2 I see the improvement in their chemistry. I could really see how much they love each other, even if there was no dialogue and it was just them making eye contact or physical contact with each other. I also enjoyed watching the friendship between our characters especially our trio Yan Dan -Ying Yuan - Yu Mo. Oh I never know I need Evil Cheng Yi until IS. He was soo hot in that Asura's attires. With white hair and that hairstyle they just magnified his handsomeness 😍
Finally finished part 1 after 7 days 🤧 Will continue with part 2 and I swear if I see that Ying Deng again in the next part of the story I think I might kill myself...
