To me, his character was interesting until it was'nt. His repeatedly betrayal just turned me off at the end. His death also gave me nothing.

Xianxia should not have such a simple title imo. It should be as complicated & dramatic as the plot.

Right!! That aspect made me so annoyed. Idc if he suddenly become a misunderstood hero. Can't erased the fact that he still did all those evil deeds & made our leads suffered even if he did it for greater reason.

I really enjoyed the first 29 episodes, ready to give this 8.5/10 😭😭. Enjoyed the plot & main couple's scene (Xie Xue Chen & Mu Xuan Ling) they had electrifying chemistry which was rare to find in xianxia these days . But the plot really lost me at ep 33 😭😭. Ah Jue & Zhao Ming story was kinda boring .....should take few episodes less. The last few episodes were the worst. The plot twist is not twisting. When they made HT the evil being, in all seriousness the whole scenario was just looked funny to me 😂😂😂. My rating: 8/10

I would say it is a rush HE.

Liked the first half of the story, it was addictive, angsty & fast paced. But pity the plot lost its spark in the second half, I was bored. 10 minutes per episode and I still use that 2X speed button 😂😂. My rating: 7/10.

Political part aside, I was quite busy irl when I started this one, maybe because of that too I could not enjoy this one to the fullest 🥹. Anyways, at the end ,it is all down to our preference. Just it was a bummer that I did not enjoyed this as much as everyone else 🥲

D*mn that censorship again 🙄. I know historical drama can't escape politic but here there's like 70% of it 😩. I'd like it to be balance like in SOKP huhuu. 2024 overall was a meh year for historical romance ...

My rating is between 7.5 - 8. The storyline not really hit the mark for me. Political talks and scheme often bored me and this drama had tons of it . Mostly I watched those scenes in 1.5 -2x speed. The romance was just ok.

The disappointed parts: Most of the times, I feel nothing from their kiss scenes ( their lips touched then the scene changed into a wide shot which did not help at all ). I was expecting the intense kind of romance as intense as their revenge but I was left disappointed.

The first episode was promising and I liked the early concept ( : assassin FL ,revenge based plot, red flag ML) but later on , it changed into a very monotonous execution . The fact that we already know the culprit and the main truth behind Qingzhou massacre from early on made it boring. Main leads had interesting personality in the first few episodes but later turned into a typical one. They had chemistry but the plot was just so meeeh at this point , I don't think it will get better based on the comments . What's good : FL's costumes and the cinematography.

I am not sure about skipping any episodes because in each one they revealed little by little at times . They want to make you feel like everyone is suspicious and a culprit 😂. Mostly I just used 2x speed and skipped unimportant scenes maybe you could do the same.

I feel the same way. To me the plot was stretched out all to cover 14 episodes. The cases were made to be complicated than it actually was because many ppl tried to hide the truth.
