The remaining episodes have dropped, but I don’t believe they are subbed (I watch raw version). The MCs almost break up (she brings up divorcing him) but they don’t actually go through with it. Due to Qin Tian’s intervention, she begins to doubt ML’s true feelings towards her.

Also, understand that Qin Tian is coming off as an evil villain but he too was tricked in a sense (not trying to completely absolve him but he had his reasons). You will see the truth in the 2nd to last episode.

I think that is a practice in families with more than 1 child, so JX has same surname as mom, and JZ has same surname as dad. Given that there didn’t seem to be any “drama” in the drama about this, this was likely a mutually agreed decision by their parents.

It’s from the same “universe”, similar to how My Huckleberry Friends, With You, and Unrequited Love are from the same “universe”. I believe the school is what ties them the same, but the characters are all different (except when they have a crossover special episode!)

I watched this a while ago but I do remember it being quite sweet (for the younger Li and her bf). If you’re only into steamy romance, this probably isn’t the drama for you. But if you enjoy fluff (ish) and younger simpler romance, I think this one has that. Hope that helps!

I just rewatched that bit (love this show!) the general gist is that LXB is teasing XF that he likes a girl and already knows that it is An Lan. XLB also says he did some investigation in his present timeline and finds out An Lan is the ES Game Competition Operating Director, as well as she is still single. XF is perplexed because he doesn’t think that makes sense: if she is still single (and has been single for 10 years), then what happened to himself? LXB is also trying to find out information about present-timeline XF and can’t find a single trace.

I don’t understand how they (the screenwriters) are going to resolve the misunderstandings in only 4 more episodes to go…but I am only here for the ML. This weird sister who seems to be replacing her brother’s affection for the ML storyline is taking up way too many episodes.

No, there was a scene earlier of RTZ's parents when they were young.. and young RXZ (the dad) was hot! I am curious who he is as well because unfortunately, he did not get a callout in the ending credits (so he must be hidden in the "group" actors section)

Wow, the actor who plays Du Jing Chuang (the evil dad) is Wang Ruo Lin?! He is actually quite handsome in real life.. but wow, the art of makeup to make him look like a skeevy geezer!

Pro tip: while waiting for the latest episodes to release, why not watch (or rewatch) their original pairing in “Love Is Sweet”? Modern drama but their chemistry is just as amazing in there :)

I personally actually liked the pairing of Xiao Ya and Lu Chen better than her and Ye Feng (too much weird tension and one of those girl code breaking things) so I am surprised that it seems like she finally accepts SML in the end (rare to see that choice). But definitely agree with you that this writing/plot was extremely messy and confusing to watch.

Hi, are you sure you watched until the end? Ma Xiao Ya goes back to her environmental vlogging roots with Lu Yu Chen (I think they’re implied to be together). Ye Feng does end up leaving Li Xin Ran, but he was never officially her boyfriend to begin with. I don’t think he dies or disappears though - in the last 5 minutes or so, there is a voiceover from Lu Yu Chen that he is leaving his company in the hands of Ye Feng so he can go back to his dreams of being a movie/film director and then a voiceover from Ye Feng telling himself to “Jia you” (buck up, words of encouragement).

This was a fairly lovely watch (who doesn’t want to feast their eyes on JBR) but it should have been a 29 episode drama with a drama special (instead of the 30th episode being the ending). 29 felt like a good way to end for me; 30 was ok but I don’t think it really added too much value.

-sigh- love FZX but wasn't as big a fan of the FL. She was also the FL from Brides Revenge (another wasted romance potential). I do feel for her - poor girl, she gets paired with some hot MLs but poor scriptwriting makes it difficult for her to shine.

I finally watched this on bilibili and my honest opinion (even though I adore Ao Rui Peng) is that this short film is not worth it. You are better off watching the web drama (24 ep). Sucks that he got switched out but Li Jia Hao did a good job of playing Zhou Rui in that show. Also, almost all the scenes from this short are acted out in the drama too.
