the drama was amazing until episode 15 than it went completely downhill
Agreed, she went through so much! And not sure if your second part is a literal question but the sister (Madam Yun Ying) was always sickly and it was made worse when she kept watch over that stupid flame in her late husband’s family place of worship (I am not sure what is the English translation of ci tang, haha!)
the drama was amazing until episode 15 than it went completely downhill
I agree.. it started strong but once that evil villain was introduced/more in the picture (the unloved princess from Liang Guo) it went downhill quick. I finished yesterday but was curious about the score so came back to this page to see…I am not surprised it keeps dropping
Ugh, stayed up just to finish last 2 ep and completely regret it. Evil princess was a psycho b**** (I can’t believe that poor guy she was with sacrificed for her selfish ass). I don’t recall any drama in recent memory that I kept screaming f*** you b**** as much as this show. Even though they were both ascetically pleasing (I actually watched this because I find the FL actress to be so adorable !), I wasn’t really feeling the main CP chemistry. Sorry, not sorry.
Ugh I am torn.. rn the brother’s chemistry w her is so much better than ML. And I as wondering why he looked so familiar - he was the SML in Unforgettable Love too (the doc senior to FL)! He is probably from same agency as WZM haha
If we talk about romance in this drama, the chemistry between Mai Cheng Huan and Xin Jia Liang was very good.…
Yes, it was so strange how their last interaction was him slipping away from the surprise engagement. At least in Battle of Changsha, he left her a letter (they were twins in that one). I’d like to see them paired up again too
Just finished and sad that it took me this long and totally agree that I nearly went thru the entire box of tissue for this show. So amazingly beautiful and realistic… I usually need a HE and steamy romance but this really did it for me. Love transcends the purely intimate/physical aspects and is about sticking by their side no matter what.
I find this drama very interesting in its direct use of some dialogues in Shanghainese! (ep.13-15 between Chenghuan's…
My parents now live in Shanghai but we are from Hunan. Specifically, the village we are from has a dialect that is not really intelligible with the “standard” Hunan dialect, so I get this! I can understand my hometown dialect but I’m not that great at speaking and wish I could speak it more, especially for my young nephew to learn.
i still think that no one can beat the level of hate i feel for the mother shown in Go ahead 😡😡😡
Agreed, Chen Ting is the worst mom I’ve seen in modern cdrama as well.. I just finished rewatching go ahead for the Nth time and I just have to fast forward through her scenes. I hate that the resolution happens only in the last 15ish min of the show
Found the soundtrack but it's not the version in the show T_T
Oh haha! Glad you found it! What a shame but luckily he does sing quite a lot of other OST (one of my fav OST singers) so if you like his voice, there are other songs :)
Found the soundtrack but it's not the version in the show T_T
If you’re referring to around 35 minute mark, it is called 一直有你 (Always Have You) and I agree.. it is somebody else who sings it on the soundtrack version but the one who is singing this one is the original composer of the song, Du Zhi Wen (都智文). Can someone who is watching this please let me know who he actually likes... is it wen wen of yuan wei? Who does…
Just finished. He ends up with Wen Wen (the other old b**** is his former GF) but of course, there’s the annoying breakup in between which lasted way too long. I wish we got to see Yuan Wei and Wu Fang get some sort of retribution because they were such conniving b**** (Yuan Wei’s obsession caused him to misunderstand Wen Wen, and Wu Fang’s weird unrequited love caused Fang Li’s wife’s accident)
Yes, many annoying moments (like seriously WTF with Li Yi Jin’s dad) but also haven’t cried like this for a drama in quite some time. And ofc Chen Jing Ke <3 also kind of a weird scene to end on. 8/10 for me
