Ning Wang is the emperors older brother (likely the oldest since they call him 大王 Da Wang for Big King). The emperor is likely the previous emperors third son.

I rewatched the ending credits. The Chinese is his own dubbing but the English (which happens a number of times) is dubbed by the person who is credited on the cast page (makes sense, completely doesn’t sound like ZBB).

I know I’m in the minority but I actually loved this drama (the kiss scenes were so good) and I’m not really watching anything else right now so rewatching this. It’s only 10 sec max but I think I recognized the ML as Chen Xiao and I believe I’m right! The drama is called A Journey to Meet Love (Jing Tian is FL). I’m not sure which episode this is but I did Baidu search on “Chen xiao gets slapped” and stumbled upon bilibili video (the scene in the drama is around the 3 min mark here):

I know that they were also villains but the way Zheng Wu Lang died for Cui Shi Jiu and his last question of if she really loved him killed me :’(

My player somehow skipped ep 35 and I watched ~10 min of ep 36 before I realized it didn’t make sense. Then I went back to watch 35 and regretted it (crying my eyes out)

At the end of 30, she finds out about her baby and at the start of 31, all of a sudden ML rushes in after her miscarriage. But it seems like the end is still the same. I personally regret watching this and could only stand to do so on 2x speed (I know this is a classic and I guess I got an “education” from this). But I did not care for the FL and so many misunderstandings.

Only place I could find this was iyf and I think it messed up between episodes 30 to 31

Just finished. Reminiscent of “Miss Ye in Wonderland” and “Legally Romance”. A cute story. I can somewhat understand a lower score (because it gets kind of confusing in the last couple of episodes) but not this low. Likely because it looks like people are gearing it towards the lack of quality ENG subtitles.
