What a wild ride… starting from ep 2 (episodes 4-6 on MDL), Deng Sha’s husband will no longer be filmed (she posted this on her weibo). Rumors are rampant but I won’t repeat until there’s something official
I know, I'm waiting for the new page for season 8 to be added so I can include it on my watch list (I submitted…
Yes, I agree! I am so sad that the “kids” are not around full time in this season, but I get it. Quite heartwarming for 何老师 And 黄老师 to drive all the way down to Fujian province to see Yi Xing and Mei Mei! And I know that the upcoming episode for me to watch (3) has Henry back, so that’s cute too.

Ugh, same here (for another show, Living in the Air 快乐趣吹风)..not sure what is the holdup with admins. But thanks for submitting :) I have been watching season after season and finally now caught up to S7 (just started).
they split ep 10 into two parts and so far i've only seen the first part aired. they're definitely stretching…
Yup! I mean even after the second half of ep 10, there’s still plenty of stuff they haven’t done yet haha. I find MDL is not always the most accurate when it comes to episode count for variety shows (they probably should have just left it as ? so we can keep episode count ourselves)
Still not getting the whole blood thing: Why did Shen Hui Zhi pretend to need Shu Yan's blood for her medicine?…
It doesn’t come up again and only really exists for the fact that she (SHZ) wants her dead. 心头血 (blood from the heart) is kind of a folksy medical use (of which I have never heard of it used in republican drama, only in costume and historical dramas). Basically, you can ignore haha
So I just finished this and honestly not for the light hearted. It is also super confusing to watch because it is split into two perspectives/storylines - a Taiwan and a Singapore one. But they intersect a lot so the TV show reuses a lot of scenes and you end up watching a lot of repeats. A LOT of violence and unnecessary deaths, so trigger warning there. Not really recommended unless you have nothing better going on.
Wow, ended this on a real WTF feeling. I get they were setting up for S2 and the livestream/in house audience to decide the fate of her pregnancy is interesting, but also cruel. I was not feeling Yang Jun Bo (and that stupid Meng Jie all over him). Much more into Wan Yuan as a love interest (damn that SML syndrome!) Ex-husband is a cop-out, not sure what he is trying to achieve. And that stupid paparazzi!! Why the hell is he leaking private hospital affairs?? He should have been locked up. Can’t rate this higher than a 6 (some of the cases were interesting and kept me hooked).
I unexpectedly started this and couldn’t put it down! So glad I did (what a contrast, inna good way, to other shows I was watching). That twist was everything! Very satisfied with the ending!
I just want to be put out of this misery and finish but it unfortunately looks like this will only be releasing 1 ep a day from now till the end (according to someone’s uploaded airing calendar). Putting on back burner
There is still at least one more episode next week
And now definitely at least another one (ep 12) that the hosts said will be the last time they are passing the moving flag. I think I remember in past seasons they usually had a big reunion trip with the dads and kiddos but don’t know if this one will (if so, then it would probably warrant more than 12 episodes). The previews for next week just show trips to see coaches, students, etc.
Ok, just rewatched it to be safe haha. It said “天下第一” (number one under the sky, “best of the best”) and then JBZ added back Ming Xian’s name
