It is also because LLD barely wear make-up in this drama, her oversized clothes are meant to make her look frumpy,…
That's what is nice about the show, is that it didn't really fall into the cliche ugly tropes. I think SCCs clothing is really cute and very much "her". Its comfortable, too. Stuff I'd wear if I was business job again. The whole thing is pretty much feeling comfortable in your own skin and accepting who you are.
Ep25! This show is so... nice? Landi is one of those plain pretty girls, but in contrast to Su Miao she would look basic. Yet, this show does a good job of showing TQs thought process and understanding.
I also love the second couple, too.
It's just a cute show. When he finally realised his feelings. TJC is just a gem of a dude. He can play historical or modern so well.
On episode 16 and oh thank god, that story / girl ended. Though he is getting duped through it all, he keeps falling for ChangChen. I await for him to start falling for her.
Yes, even the C-side was shock that a drama production like this came from the C-industry (especially because…
Bingo. This is why I am enjoying it. It's fantasy but it has well done characters, and it reminds me of a western rom com. I want more of this and if it was done by the same writers, I want people to smoke what they were smoking.
I'm late coming into this, on Ep 4 and I'm loving it. It doesn't feel like a normal cdrama? I can't put my finger on it. I think it's how the female lead is written. I also like her friend, too.
I absolutely love this cast, but I love ZLH playing the scorned prince / general who goes toe to toe with some butcher girl. It's more liking coming down to her level and realizing, 'god, she doesn't need to be some pretty woman, she can just be herself and my equal in battle.' I expect some honest to goodness hot chemistry here.

Inject this into my dreams.
