Just saw the teasers for eps 36-37 and omg we are going on an intense ride y'all...My LSY having to go all anti-hero…
Of course when someone else does it he goes and says "YN! look! someone being bad! and worse - its someone you LOVE. that pisses you off a lot more because he is doing it, right?"
and her response will probably be like: "unlike people who talk to wooden dolls, I actually talk to my lover"
I'm not sure why some people seem to hate ep. 6, I thought it was great 😔😭 I also think the moments with…
Ep 6 was good! I loved it. The demon label is multifaceted and they're not generic evil or bad they are multilayered with reasons of doing what they did.
The writing on the demons and humanity / is this person truly a demon is phenomenal. In a lot of CDramas they're usually black and white when it comes to demons = must be bad, but here you can see that perhaps if someone does demonic things are they really demonic? It handles a lot of interesting topics about self worth / fear / insecurity, too. Crazy this got through and I'm glad it did.
Like there is cosmetic things wrong with the show (music, editing) but otherwise, everything else is just really really good. The acting is stellar too? Even the guest roles. Like, Riley and Peng did some amazing acting in this episode. Crazy but I wish they got more nuanced / deep writing like this.
I gotta hand it to the writers, Yining is a great female protag. Not only that, really can't see anybody else play her besides Ren. She has a duality of being level headed and sweet which is what the role requires.
I also love that both families are co-parenting her and getting along? That's pretty refreshing to see, and also a win for people with adopted parents irl.
But for the love of god, that LJX needs to stop creepin'. I keep banking on LSY giving him a red wedding send off.
