Love the first episode!!! Holy chemistry for days!!!!!! Big Jane has the sexiest and scariest vibeā¦love how he is so mysterious, makes me want to learn more about it. Thank You for the shirtless scene, dame boy has an 8 pack! Director And cast has done a great job with this first episode. Canāt wait for episode 2, looks sexy and steamy.
Did they move on to college yet? I stopped at ep 8 because of the one ep a day with all that angst.
Not yet, prior to episode 10 I was getting very angry and I almost dropped it. The mother is too cruel and her manipulation of ML was harsh. Needless to say the story is moving forward and it feels much better
Episode 10-13 have been so much better. Finally seeing them being honest with each other and we get a break from the wicked witch mother. Beautiful chemistry, emotions unfolding, secrets shared and still loving the ost
I love the two leads but this story is torture. Iām on episode 10 and I literally want to kill her mother. She is so cruel ( kudos to the actress) but OMG this character makes me rage!!!

Truly I believe this is one of the best historical dramas I have ever seen and I am a committed cdrama fan. This is the first time I have seen a cdrama take on such heavy topics and do it so well, physical and mental disability. Bai Lu is owning this character, strong, smart and cunning in the surface but fragile and broken in the inside. Chen Lei is also doing an amazing job, acting as a disable person and all the myriad of emotions he has shown is incredible.
I appreciate how they have slowly build trust and fallen for each other. This is much more realistic and mature look at how a relationship develops. For them having each others backs and being each others support is what matter, step by step, not passion and over the top emotions. Not to mention they both have more purpose than just love.
The first drama in a long time where every episode continues to surprise me and the plot just keeps giving. They have done such a good job developing these characters and slowing revealing the layers. I think we are all going to have a good cry when FL finally reveals the truth to ML. I canāt imagine the kind of suffering this person has gone through that her mind is so fragmented to protect herself.
The other aspects of this drama that I love is the realism in makeup and styling. We can actually see the pores on their faces!!!! How awesome is that??? Cdrama often whitewashes and uses so much makeup that itās ridiculous. Seeing their faces and hair out of place is so refreshing.
Cant wait for more episodes!!! This drama has so much depth, I hope the momentum continues
Really enjoying this drama, love the two leads. Feeling badly for ML being used but I also understand FLs motivation. Aside from the drama, can I say how amazing the music is? OST is fire and conveys all the emotions perfectly
