Ok I waited to watch because I had The Legend of the Female General still in my ahead, even though it’s been months since I watched. Both are excellent dramas but very different.
I have to say I absolutely loved this drama. Leads had killer chemistry, the fight scenes were extraordinary and I loved how they styled ML during his transformation. ML was so different in this drama and really showed his softer side and his acting range. FL was a total badass and I loved her. I appreciated how deeply they loved each other, so utterly devoted, completely open and honest with no stupid misunderstandings. Their love story was truly epic!!!
I also want to say thank you to the director for having Cheng Li topless in what seemed like every episode!!! 🙏🏼
I really enjoyed this drama…came expecting romance and got so much more.
I especially loved the Canadian location because it was filmed in my city. It was pretty cool to see all those places I go to on a regular basis on screen and filmed so beautifully.
The leads had great chemistry and I loved their dynamic. The FL kicked ass playing both roles. I appreciated the dark Psychological twist. Most dramas rarely touch these topics and I think they did a good job. I wished they had been a little more realistic and had her seeking more therapy but it was very interesting to see how her trauma manifested.
I appreciated how the ML loved her and met her where she was and gave her what she needed even if it was in the traditional sense. It was quite beautiful 9/10
Ignore the comments and make up your own mind. Wasn’t sure what to expect because of some of the comments but so glad I watched. Sometimes you just need a fluffy, no angst, romance and this was such a fun watch. I loved the ML, he has so much charisma and oozes this quiet dominance. So sexy. Thought I would fin the FL annoying because she was so cutesy but I really appreciated her tenacious personality and determination. I loved the way she loved him and vice versa.
I also really enjoyed all the side couples. Overall just a feel good drama where you’re rooting for everyone!
Can I say how much I love this BL???? Considering I’m usually into dark toxic BL, this one makes me so happy and giddy!!! Episodes always feel too short… The director has achieved a perfect balance of push/ pull, funny/serious. Can we give applause to PondPhuwin for how far they have come in their acting! And kissing…the kiss in bed (Epi 9) was seriously sexy. They have such amazing chemistry and trust in each other, you can feel the care and love through the screen. I have to give Pond additional kudos for his acting, he completely embodies P Thee, all his mirco expressions and delivery of lines are next level. Love this character!
I have watched many amazing BLs over the years but for some reason this one is giving me such a high and makes me so happy!!!!! Can’t wait for the finale but I wish it was longer.
First off can we appreciate Wang Ruichens face card? And the most beautiful seductive eyes.
The scenery and landscape was breathtaking, a character of its own. The best part of this drama was the cinematography, quite well done. Makes me want to visit Inner Mongolia for the beauty and customs. Acting was pretty good too BUT editing and plot was not great. Felt like everything happened on a week even though more time had passed. I’d really like to see them in something else that’s longer and better written.
If all of you would tell, from which episode FL truly moved on from 2ML? Just finished ep. 12 and I’m a bit…
Don’t worry she truly lets him go. They finally get together episode 24 but as you watch you will see that the FL was very much into the ML before than. Once he walked into her life it was never a choice between the 2.
I commented earlier about how amazing this drama is but I also have to comment on Zhuang Xu.
I didn’t know a character could actually piss me off this much without being mean, scheming or being evil.
One of the most selfish, self centred, self pitying, pathetic characters masquerading as a martyr and a selfless person when he was just a coward and feeling inadequate. Even the ending….like get over it sad boy!! I mean they didn’t even have that much of a connection why are you holding on…I guess regret but oh so pathetic
I have never been so satisfied watching a drama! From beg to end, yes even the frustrating part because it provided parallels for later moments in the drama. This truly depicts how picking the right love/partner can make such a difference in creating a wonderful life. Thank you for giving us characters that grew and provided resolution to their circumstances instead of staying silent. For Leads who actually communicate with each other, grow and give us a beautiful love story. Going to really miss these two! 10/10
I finally watched episode 14 and oh my heart! I felt shu Langs heart breaking all over again as Fan Xiao walked away. The emotions in this episode were overwhelming, kudos to the actors for doing such a great job. Fan Xiao crying in repentance was believable and so moving. Cant wait to see how this wraps up. I am 1000% invested
Yes Fan Xiao is a black flag, toxic, messy but that’s exactly what makes him compelling. He’s written to be…
I’ve just started the novel in anticipation of the drama. Can’t wait?
Although Shao Qun from Sissy is one of the trashiest, most toxic, BLACKEST flag I have ever come across. I loved the novel but you have to be into that type of trope
