Totally disagree! He went from being ruthless, scheming, revenge driven, not trusting anyone to being vulnerable, admitting love and wanting a better future for himself with a clear conscience. Episode 27 when he introduces Yixiao to his mom and tells her how he feels in so beautifully poignant. A completed 180 from who he use to be.
All I can say is wow!! I have been obsessed with this drama since it started. The ML is gorgeous and he embodies his character, he oozes so much charisma. FL is so badass I love her! This is the best enemies to lovers I have ever seen. I mean they are ruthless in the beginning and so devoted to each other now. Also loving all the side characters. This drama has so many twists and turns, it’s anxiety inducing. Episode 27-28 were brilliant, I literally went through a myriad of emotions and holding my breath. The intensity is crazy!!!!
The car scene in EP 21 had me laughing in tears... That was so funny.
The entire episode made me laugh but the car scene was brilliant. The part where he is suppose to be in Russia And he opens the door and she is there LOL
Love, love this drama!!! The leads have scorching chemistry. I love a cunning ML and a smart, tough FL. So far the acting is on point, great story, beautiful sets and costumes and great pacing. Chen Heyi is magnificent as the first prince, he really suits costume dramas. Can’t wait for the rest…
What is with this rating??? This drama is exceptional, leads have amazing chemistry and the acting is great, the ML is truly ruthless and they are not afraid to show it especially when she is first captured. I think this will make the love story more poignant and his change even more sincere. All the supporting characters are also fantastic , I mean whole cast is eye candy.. ..the sets are also beautiful and detailed not to mention the royal families costumes feel more unique and extravagant . I know it’s the same director so it does feel a little like fangs of fortune.

He was a total asshole in episode 14 and you’re right we have to see his worst to see his best in the redemption arc. I think we are going to see some huge changes and him humbling himself in front of her. I mean they are both Red Flags, she just happens to be truly in love with him so we think she is better. Both are wrong so can’t wait to see how the both change and grow!
I’m so obsessed with this show, can get enough, need all episodes now!!! Lusi is brilliant on this dram, her acting is so nuanced, her coldness, repressing her emotions and her tears…goodness she cries like no other actress. I’m so thrilled to see her in a mature role and can’t wait for the next episode
Oh my Scarlett Heart, this is the resolution that I needed. I wish we had more modern music interaction but I will take a Happy Ending any day. I have to say Lee Chae Min acted the hell out of that role, he was brilliant!
I am so addicted to this show. Master should just walk around with no shirt on….seriously his back and tattoos need its own fan page. Loved their intimate scene so well done, great chemistry and master knows how to kiss. Aside from the hot stuff I’m really enjoying the story and the side characters. Such a unique drama!
ZL is fantastic is this drama, she is playing the cunning ice queen so well. Her characters back story is so heart breaking. Also Let’s talk about the fashion here…like wow.
