I finally watched episode 14 and oh my heart! I felt shu Langs heart breaking all over again as Fan Xiao walked away. The emotions in this episode were overwhelming, kudos to the actors for doing such a great job. Fan Xiao crying in repentance was believable and so moving. Cant wait to see how this wraps up. I am 1000% invested
Yes Fan Xiao is a black flag, toxic, messy but that’s exactly what makes him compelling. He’s written to be…
I’ve just started the novel in anticipation of the drama. Can’t wait?
Although Shao Qun from Sissy is one of the trashiest, most toxic, BLACKEST flag I have ever come across. I loved the novel but you have to be into that type of trope
That was brilliant!!! Everyone complaining about the lack of romance and resolution apparently doesn’t understand Netflix…I’m sure they are planning a sequel. The leads had so much chemistry, watching them dance together was so incredibly seductive. Takeuchi Ryoma the man you are, what charisma? dripping sex appeal and that waist????? I actually really enjoyed the story and it had much more emotion and openness than most JBLs. I love the train scene where they finally let go…they have this amazing push and pull dynamic. Looking forward for o a continuation of their story!! Please give us season 2!!!!
Here are some questions that I’d like to ask as I’m not familiar with the source material
1) Is Suzuki part Cuban? 2) high level male competitors kiss in the middle of a ballroom and no one reacts? LOL 3) why does Sugkiki dance with Suzuki at the end in the first place?
Loved this drama, such beautiful story telling. Leads had killer chemistry, all the buildup and tension and then their dating era was so sexy. With real life age gap. They were both so comfortable with each other and made their intimacy look so sincere. Both leads were excellent, ML had the best smile and micro expressions, and his eyes were so expressive. He did such a good job as the young awkward boy And then later the more confident man.
I loved that the director didn’t compromise the characters because of the age gap, they showed the reality through their challenges and differences but also the strength of tested love. The FL was strong, smart, determined and didn’t sway once she made up her mind. Once they got back together she was fully committed and didn’t allow for drama including her parents. I really loved her conversation with her dad.
I enjoyed the side couples. Wishes we had seen more of Chen Ruis romance. I have to also mention the beautiful OST added so much to the scenes. This drama and couple will be missed. 9/10 for me
All I have to say is that I am obsessed with this BL. As a fan of the Shui Qian Chengs 188 series where all the ML are Scum Gong, I am loving they are staying true to this book. This is the first time I’ve seen a BL show a ML this crazy obsessed, I mean episode 10 was intense. Total psychological warfare….looking forward to the redemption arc. This is literally true wife chasing crematorium!!!!
This show is definitely not for the faint of heart and you have to enjoy the troupe. Everyone just hang in there, though a lot of craziness, pain and angst. I’m sure we will get a reformed ML and happy ending
