This comment comes after ep 11. Bravo to actress for her performance, as she is displaying high level of emotions when teetering in the brink of win or die, dealing with Zehuan. (Despicable sort of human. I’m so glad he’s dealt with). That’s it. ZL in the calamity of her complicated character is portraying it in the way that is effective, not over or under but point on good.
1. Why would anyone get into a car with two strangers (dad). 2. I’ve been seeing so many short dramas of villains playing fake victims that I’m still not knowing how to feel about Xu Yan playing it at end of 8. Does it fit the shoe? Yes and no.
OMG I didn't see this coming, wondering if this is the reason all along he went after her. I know we know why…
She actually initially sought him out for an exclusive interview for her network. Landing him would advance her career. I don’t know if it’s bad editing that after his agreement, she went to see him, ended up sick, he took care of her, and from there they got together. It came suddenly and the weaving of events is sort of confusing. I’m hoping we’ll see more of their initial build up relationship.
Beginning to see the fall. He seems to have real estate plans in her hometown, but using her career advancement as an excuse. Double red flags for Xu Yan? Anyone thinks this too? Darn, this is gonna be a torturous wait.
They say one lie leads to a hundred more to cover it up. I'm really waiting for the divorce to happen so they'd…
Right? I want to see her free, not tense at every turn. There’s that part about her character that is a take away for me. It makes me miss that playful comedic side of her we’ve seen often in her other roles, like in dating in the kitchen. I do get her current character and what she’s portraying but i do hope when the facade comes off, we can see a more carefree side of her.
Who is the stylist? Why is Xu Yan wearing either wearing short shorts or bare shoulders at the office? Her hair…
lol, you made me smile “that makes him look like her uncle”. For the most part, I love her variations of style. The part where they’re watching the male leads interview (and her dad) I didn’t like that style. She like jumped back to high school year making her look like his sister rather than fiancé. I read somewhere she picked her own styles.
The early episodes were a bit of a maze—those transitions between present day and flashbacks felt messy at first,…
Right? At first I was kind of confused but come to think of it, it’s kind of smooth and effective. The blending of flashbacks and present is unique so that you continue in the present while smoothing in the past. It becomes catchy as you get used to it.
Well everyone reading this at least are well informed now about this ruler, if anything. I love people who are well versed and straight up pass it on. Then, it bursts bubbles of sorts..lol
