Off to a fluctuating start. Thought it was really cute first few episodes but mid to nine it started to lose its momentum. If they make a focal point, then tie in the support, it then has a rhythm. I think they’re trying too hard to key in themes, thus, creating a messy flow. Hopefully it gets better.
A korean bathroom? Did you see the showerhead on the wall? They tend not to have bathtubs/shower stalls. You wash…
I’d have to rewatch to be honest. Makes sense if that’s where she was. I thought she was smack in middle of her room and also the camera work suddenly panning in close up to her face gave me a double take like it’s a hair commercial right in middle of a drama. Anyways, makes sense if I missed it. My bad!
Making Heung Su such a dork is an injustice to all the Korean men his age group who are most likely not. This poor guy does not get a break from the writers ✍️ determined to make him dumb and dumber.
My feels of this ep 37. I liked the realistic responses and matter of fact concerns of the brothers to Chairman Han. While I like him, I feeL he’s a bit overreaching to matters of Kwang Sook’s delicate family matter. Normal reactions from them that takes time and absorption. Good writing.
For the rest, i feel they’re faltering to stay afloat. How many more times is hairdresser gonna ask ‘who am I to you’, in private and then in front of Doc? 🤦🏽 Now they’re stretching it more? That relationship is so unnecessarily going around circles. The ex is relevant because?? How is it even possible she’s able to do what she’s doing without authorization? Lame and ridiculous she has free rein to the house and everyone just leaves the house while she’s still there. Se ri’s scene stealing glances was so corny cringe I was embarrassed at how bad that was. Now suddenly they’re moving on to dating? Weak! Dokgo already knows his daughter likes prof so what’s up with the secret photographer? Even if it’s with intention to further prove for his firing, it’s a weak angle.
Towards the end, it would be nice to see to see this family (ies) have connections, weddings, etc. Instead they’re going the extra nothings to ruin this good drama. IMO.
Didn’t really like the way they went to end this pretty good story. From getting out of that hole, to walking slowly like it was fun sun day while I’m freezing just watching them, and having a car in the middle of nowhere, etc) Yeah, head scratching. They must of just had to be done with it. For some who are baffled with the “grab” at end is to me, a symbolic gesture of a few things. First, he chose and stayed gay. He solidified his stake of his man. HE. That’s how I’m satisfying myself with the ending.
Hello. I like your thoughts and am actively watching along with you. I think you’re enjoying it. Could your ratings be unconsciously not known by default. Just curious because that seems so low for a glowing review. I guess I’m one trying to uplift this drama.
He didn't even have to say anything but just look serious. Wow, what a man, compared to the brothers especially,
That’s a matured man who knew what had to be done in that moment. That’s life experience on cinema. In fact, his whole characterization is real life act. I think that’s why I continuously rave about him.
Episode 36 likes and dislikes: Likes: 1. Conversation of Beom with his baby brother. It's very natural for an adoptee to want to know (if possible) their birth parents. Wish he wouldn't in this one but of course it's a major plot usefulness. <> 2. Dong Seok, Dong Seok, Dong Seok
Dislikes: 1. Ex. I mean who is she? She is nothing to this family anymore. Why is she in their house and free rein. 2. Chun Soo. Like most of other kdramas, the dis-communication. Has he not already started over with Mi Sun? Why not openly discuss this ex issue? As a couple they should be at a place to deal with it together. 3. Heung Su. What is his actual relationship with Ok Bun? She definitely got it right there when she asked him that? It's unfortunate that he was chosen as the one to be fussy about sis in law. Brings his character further thumbs down. 4. Gwang Suks eomma. Her character is between 50/50 love or hate. She gave second hand embarrassment at that dinner. GS not cutting it off at just starting is irritating. There's a thin line between elderly courtesy and made to look like a woman on the auction block. I don't know maybe it's a normal cultural thing but that was cringey as heck. >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Maybe re-do Gwang Suk's crying? C r i n g e y....
So tired of seeing the grabbing and pulling of a woman from the middle of a conversation with someone. Who does that in real life. Hope this is not how it is in korea. I actually like the vet. This brother is a nuisance of immaturity and it’s unfortunate they portray him as such. I mean in all things considered, why would he be chosen over the vet?
Why????? What does bringing the ex do to the well developing story? Unnecessary!! With drama winding down, this brings a bad taste. Probably screen time now goes to this, professors ex next, dogko. Terrible choice of whoever decision makers are.
