I don't remember...what did Teh do to Kim?

I wonder how many of those people in "healthy, loving relationships" actually have a partner who is cheating on them and they just don't know it yet. Half of marriages in the U.S. end in divorce. How many of the remaining half have one partner secretly cheating? So we can safely assume that MOST people in long term relationships will experience serious turmoil at one point or another. It is HOW they handle it and move forward that matters.

BRAVO. We forget how many teeny-boppers watch BLs and go insane when things get heavy. I hate what went down in this ep but I'm loving the fact that I'm hating it and clutching my arms above my head as Oh climbed the stairs to the rehearsal room, knowing what he was about to see. This is DRAMA, baby! Bring it!

I want LOTS of messy shit to go down because I am here for a DRAMA, not some damn BL fairy tale.

I agreed with your comment until the end. So Teh should be eliminated for being a flawed, sexual human being who fell for the manipulative plan purposely set in place by an asshole director? What if in the end he and Oh still love and care for each other and choose to re-commit? Should they split up just to satisfy some fantasy of perfect behavior that very few of us can live up to?

Well, who wouldn't be attracted to Jai? He's very handsome. He is also very manipulative. He maneuvered Teh into that rehearsal room smooch over a period of days, topped off with plum wine. Who brings wine to rehearsal? Jai is every bit as much to blame as Teh.

ummm....so far it's only been a kiss. It could have been a lot more. I thought when Oh peeked through the door he was going to see Teh and Jai going at it on the floor. People in long-term relatiosnhips sometimes fuck up, and they are definitely attracted to other people from time to time. It's what they DO about it that matters. I do think Teh would have taken that encounter as far as Jai would allow if Jai hadn't cut it short. BUT I feel like Jai manipulated Teh into that situation over a period of many days. That first exercise with actors asking to touch each other was weird to begin with...the director said "only say yes if you feel comfortable saying yes" but it was clear he was pushing them past their comfort zones. And I would never let some jerk, manipulative director read my private, personal entries in a journal. Jai already crossed the line there, then think about all he did afterward to move Teh toward the encounter in the rehearsal room...topped by bringing plum wine to rehearsal.. WTF? Jai knew exactly what he was doing.

Well, so far it's only been a kiss, albeit a hardcore one. When Oh peeked in the room and the camera panned back I was thinking Teh and Jai, who is a manipulative asshole, were going to be on the floor f**king.

What is wrong with you? Do you think the director and crew write the episodes each week on the fly? wtf? How old are you?

SOME BL fans are emotionally unstable and mentally iffy. Unfortunately, their insane comments and tweets and IG posts get all the attention. I am upset by the developments in this episode, but so what? Drama sometimes upsets people, that's part of its power.

People are flawed. Flawed people make mistakes. Jai was out of line from the minute he first asked to be reading actors' personal journals including info from their personal lives. He is the one who started them down that slope toward the tongue-twisting kiss in the rehearsal room. And it seems now that he was playing Teh the whole time as some sort of acting exercise to get him in character for his stupid play. People in long-term relationships are still attracted to other people from time to time, it's part of being human. It is what you DO when that happens that matters. I am disappointed in Teh also, but I completely understand how Jai worked him to that point, purposely.

Why do you "hate" people like Teh? What does that even mean? Is Teh one hundred percent bad because he did one very repulsive thing out of a thousand? Are you perfect?

BEFORE READING ALL THE MESSED-UP CRAP I THINK I'M GOING TO ENCOUNTER BELOW, I WANT TO SAY THAT THIS SERIES IS SO FAR ABOVE THE LEVEL OF MOST BLs THAT IT SHOULD NOT BE CALLED ONE. IT'S A FILM, A SERIES, A PIECE OF ART. AND THAT IS PRECISELY WHY THE CRAZY "FANDOM" IS SO WORKED UP. IT GOT TO THEM, AS ART SHOULD.

I just finished watching the episode and I feel a little sick to my stomach. THIS, folks, is why there are so many fucked-up relationships, break-ups, divorces, etc. among people in the theatre/film industries. It can be very difficult to keep a solid barrier between emotional work required for a performance and the responsibilities, obligations and loyalties required of a solid relationship. I have a theatre degree and do as much amateur work as I can fit into my schedule. Shit like this is always going down. That director was out of line from the minute he asked to read actors' journals containing personal and intimate material from their real lives. He is a manipulator.

Now, I just saw a couple of comments below and I have a feeling when I scroll down I am going to read some really psycho shit from "fans." Speaking of people who can't separate reality from fiction...Later.

LOL Once again, you're on point. I was bored to tears. NOTHING of substance happened until the last five minutes. And I'm as mystified as you: How can people write this shit and NOT know they're just re-writing what's already been written 400 times before them? One of the m any reasons I love iTSAY and IPYTM is their scripts did not come off that BL copy machine secured in a basement somewhere in the jungles of Thailand, printing out page after page of the same old crap again and again and again...we watch with such hope, only to have our souls crushed once again. :)

This is a 100% awesome comment. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I totally get what you write about "courting" in the gay world. That is the mindset with which I have always approached other gay men I am interested in, sometimes maybe too much so. I stayed in the closet until I was 37 and have always been as interested in romance as in sex. One-night stands left me feeling empty after I became sexually active. But within certain gay social circles it is considered strange or clingy to have such an attitude. You're expected to sleep around with abandon and keep love and sex completely separate from each other.

I was raised Lutheran in southern Kansas with eight years of parochial school and church and Sunday school every week. I know all about being brain-washed to hate yourself and think of gayness as a twisted, sinful abomination.

NONE of those behaviors would be "creepy" IRL if the person exhibiting them was as handsome, kind, sweet and intelligent as Mork. I would be thrilled that such a person was interested in me. If Mork were written to not do any of those things there would be no show because there would be no plot.

The age-old question: WHY, OH WHY do people who are disturbed by the behaviors regularly exhibited by characters in BLs nevertheless continue to watch BLs?
