Oh, believe me, I've been in that thread frequently, but not lately. Yes, it was fun to watch SJW heads exploding left and right there, especially over the brothers getting it on.

lol I missed that, I guess. There is NO bottom to the SJW pearl-clutching here. I think it's a weird side-effect…
First of all, you are commenting from the perspective that Sat is an 11 year-old boy launched into an 18 year-old body, and I don't agree that that is the premise here at all. I think Sat is an 18 year-old who can't remember the last seven years, during which he apparently had sex with anything that wasn't tied down.

Secondly, what do you think the people in the porn 11 year-old boys look at are doing? They are f**king, among other things. What do they fantasize about while they are masturbating? Do they fantasize about masturbating while they masturbate? No. They fantasize about f**king. You seem t think eleven year-olds are too ignorant to know what goes on with two human bodies having sex. They are not ignorant. When I was 11 years old, there was no such thing as the Internet and I had no access to porn, so being an artistic kid, I drew my own porn, which mostly featured men f**king each other. I have no idea how I knew about such a thing, as I had definitely not yet done it, but I did.

Thirdly, even IF Sat were an 11 year-old in an 18 year-old body, how in the world would Choke know that? So why WOULDN'T he initiate?

Fourthly, people who are bothered by two teenage boys groping each other in bed should not be watching BLs. Groping in bed is a BL staple.

Just speaking my mind. I don't care about having comment thread "fights." I read your other comments above. And I know A is for asexual. Ass-sexual was a joke. But what are people who have zero desire for sex doing as part of an acronym and a flag which represents people of various sexual identities? Hmmm...does the absence of a sexual identity qualify as a sexual identity?

I'm highly suspicious of self-proclaimed asexuals anyway. Humans, like most primates, are highly sexual beings. The sex aspect of our makeup effects just about everything we do. The complete lack of sexual desire strikes me as a condition to be treated, not an identity to be celebrated. I went through a period of severe depression and for a period of time it obliterated my libido. ZERO, nada, zilch sex drive. I felt like half of my self was gone. But once my depression was successfully treated, the libido returned and I felt whole again. Sex and the feelings connected to it are a HUGE part of who we are as individuals.

That said, generally speaking and with full acknowledgement that there is a wide range of degrees in between, I think women experience the libido quite differently from men. I think it is much stronger and more fundamental to a man's identity than it is for women.

Thoughts? And sometime I'd love to hear your perspective on what it is about the BL Universe that fascinates and entertains some gay women. That's a thing I really can't get my head around. lol Why would gay women be interested in the sex and love lives of gay boys and men?

He's improving with age, but for many years I considered Brad Pitt wooden and talentless. There are several woman actors in their early 30s who I include in that description, yet they keep landing roles. I haven't paid much attention to Hollywood in the last 20 years though, so I can't even remember their names because I don't care. Matt Damon: wooden.

My comment was 100 percent satire, a spoof on the Social Justice Warriors who are always here screaming about problematic this and problematic that and anything sexual being rape and the need for consent forms for every stage of joint sexual activity and inappropriate this and inappropriate that and generally just hating on fictional characters exhibiting any form of human weakness/behavior that might be the least bit less than perfect, honorable and pure.

The fact that you took my comment seriously means, alas, that I didn't take it FAR enough and thus, I failed. :D

I will endeavor to do better next time.

I was in a discussion with a couple of commenters who repeated THEMSELVES multiple times, never adding anything new. I did not say there were "many" commenters, nor were there in fact "many" commenters. Any indication that there were actually "many" commenters is entirely false and a fact that exists only in your head. So, no, many people were NOT saying the same thing. Two people kept repeating themselves. Why did you comment to me again? You seem to be strangely aggressive and desirous of an argument for argument's sake.

Why are you like that?

Have a good day! :D

I think usinh the word "predatory" for Mork's character is too much. If you are referring Mork's social media…
I'll just step in here as the gay man who has never had sex with anyone without exchanging words first, and who ADORES flirting, sometimes even more than f**king. It's fun and exciting.

In my first months of finding BL World and watching everything I could get my hands on as fast as I could watch it, all the tropes and cliches and stereotypes drove me crazy. But the more of them I see the more I find myself mellowing. What's the sense of expecting something from a genre that was never envisioned to include it? If a show is too annoying because of afforementioned qualities now, I just stop watching and look for something else. Or I accept that these unoriginal stupidities are going to be included, but other factors such as good plotting, writing, acting, etc. outweigh them.

Yes, perhaps we will soon see the emergence of a new genre, a more-advanced and enlightened and sex-friendly version of BL, in which things are closer to the world as it is IRL. Not that any of us can really agree on what "real life" is anyway...we all perceive it differently.

The director and screen writer did a great job "fleshing Mork out." You're simply unable or unwilling to see that. Is it possible that as a "queer woman," you're not equipped to fully understand/get beneath the skin of the gay male perspective on sex and romance? Maybe Mork is something completely 180 degrees different from how you see him but you CAN'T appreciate it.

I keep trying to give this show the benefit of the doubt but it keeps disappointing me. Between the offensive…
You have got to be one of the most paranoid kill-joys I have ever encountered. To imagine that one character, Mork, behaving in one way ( and calling it "predatory" is ridiculously overstating the case) is meant by the writers to suggest that ALL gay people are predatory is...absurd. What about all the OTHER gay people in this show who are NOT acting even a little bit predatory? Do their actions not count somehow on your SJW problematic/non-problematic score card? Mork is not predatory, he is self-confident.

I'm just as gay as you are if not more so (and I can't help but notice you're one of those for whom LGBT is not nearly enough - you've added the I (intersex?) and A (ass-sex?) to the alphabet soup of our identity but horrendously, you forgot the Q for QUESTIONING. Have you no humanity? )! but if I had your level of self-obsessed paranoia about portrayals of gay people and Sikhs in media, I would throw myself off a bridge.

Just fucking relax. This show is a hoot and extremely gay-friendly.

What about that problematic nipple-fiddling by Mork under the covers as he lay on top of Pi? There was no consent, it was a form of assault and I'm not happy about it.
On Fish upon the Sky Jun 11, 2021
I'm so upset I can't see straight. Mork diddling Pi's left nipple under his shirt under the covers without first obtaining verbal and written consent is a vile and despicable example of problematic sexual behavior in general and sexual assault in particular in BLs. This is not something that should be romanticized or normalized and the director should know better. These are just young actors who may well be permanently psychologically damaged by such behavior, whether it's as a fictional character or IRL. Shame on everyone connected with this series.

lol You must be the comment section supervisor? When people keep repeating what they wrote before with no supporting information, I think "whatever you say" is a measured and mature response. Would you prefer "quit repeating yourself, asshole!"? If so, pretend that's what I wrote and then piss off. I didn't ask for your opinion of my commenting style nor am I getting that you're somehow authorized to be the hall monitor here. Is that "rude" enough for you?

hmmm...how did you have the time to analyze those scenes, given how quickly they flashed across the screen and were gone? Oh...you went back and re-watched those scenes just for that purpose, didn't you. lol Finally, someone more obsessed by and dedicated to the BL life than me. :D However, Sat being reluctant in those scenes does not comport with what else we know about his behavior during the last seven years. hmmm...Maybe I will seek out those scenes! :D

lol I missed that, I guess. There is NO bottom to the SJW pearl-clutching here. I think it's a weird side-effect of 14 year-old girls obsessing about 18 year-old boys in love with each other, but having ZERO concept of how hard-wired for sex 24/7 boys of that age are. We are talking semen leaking out of ear drums and eye sockets, people. When you are a 12-30 year-old male ALL YOU CAN THINK ABOUT most of the time is sex. Sex, sex, sex, sex. And more sex.

Fourteen year-old girls have no way of relating to this because, for the most part, even the horniest girl or woman is still FAR LESS horny than the least horny boy or man. For some illogical evolutionary reason, this is the way humans are made.
