Am I the only one that Jai guy is making anxious? Whenever he and Oh-aew are in a scene together there's something…
I like what you wrote about Jai being attracted to Oh, but what we're picking up on from Oh is the uneasiness he feels as a result of that attraction. He doesn't want it, but there it is.
Fearless Predictions:*Despite not wanting to be an actor any more, Oh-aew will land the first paying acting gig,…
Thanks for all that. Interesting possibilities. This is one of those shows where I know there has to be angsty stuff for it to be interesting, but at the same time I'm a wreck when anything less than perfect appears to be approaching my two boys.
I liked how Teh and Oh Aew are not portrayed as flawless characters. In ep 2, I was a little upset because of…
I agree completely about the realism of what's going on. None of the plot developments in this episode felt manufactured or cliche as they so often do in other BLs.
I don't dislike Teh even in the slightest but he can be a bit insensitive at times, especially when he's angry…
Thanks for that. You helped me clarify a lot of my own thinking about Teh and Oh in this episode and to this point. The early part of this episode i kept thinking what a total DICK Teh was being to Oh and everyone else. I gradually came to see how he was threatened and afraid that without the examples set by those around him of chasing their dreams, he would end up giving up on his own.
But Oh is right...somewhere along the line he DID become a horrible actor. lol And he found himself getting into advertising, so why not go with it? I was so pissed at Teh most of this ep but loved that they came to an underrstanding by the end.
And you're right...the characters are deeply written. This is three or four levels above the basic BL, even the "good" ones.
My thoughts too AND with a daughter in tow... I woulda kicked him in the nuts and kicked him out...
Could you point out my hypocrisy so that I can correct it please? Likewise, could you please point out the faults I am too blind to see? Politeness? Seriously? Scroll up and read some of your own comments and then come back and tell me about politeness. lol
This one really took me by surprise. A few months ago I read the synopsis and comments and gave it a pass. I watched it today on a whim. At first I took it as a light-hearted satire but by the fourth episode I realized I was totally in with the characters and their situations. The acting is the key; they were completely committed to this little project and they swept me away with their conviction. The developing romance at the heart of the series was entirely convincing. Of course it was low-budget, but who cares when there's this depth of feeling going on? They certainly didn't seem to skimp on costuming...all the clothing was fascinating and beautiful to behold.
The three mains are so impressive as actors. I'm going to be following their careers. I know where I've seen JES before, but I'll have to investigate the other two as I know the faces but not where I saw them. What handsome, distinctive faces. The casting was impeccable.
I don't know why it took me so long to watch this movie. I've been aware of it for a long time but always skipped it. The name might have put me off, I'm not sure, Anyway, finally watched and am very glad I did. Both mains did an excellent job, but JES is just a head above. He's one of those natural and talented actors who are able to project an array of emotions and thought processes across their face and eyes without it looking like they're trying to do so. He IS this character, he's not ACTING like he's this character.
This is probably easily in my top 20 BLs right now, based on the acting, direction and production, but the inclusion of stupid cliches like tending wounds and giving baths and all that shit brings it down a notch. I can't believe these BL-makers keep repeating the same crap devices that have been done so often before. I don't get why there is no effort to be original.
Great ending, though the cliche that led us there was annoyingly unoriginal. It's always wonderful to be reminded that not ALL beloved BL characters get hit by cars or die of a brain tumor in the last five minutes. :D

It's cute that you're stalking me this evening. Wow, you are one of the exceptionally belligerent ones who have nothing BUT bile to spew, and nothing of substance to add. That you eschew forgiveness and redemption is all I need know about you.
I didn't come out of the closet til I was 37 because I was terrified of the repercussions and more than a bit…
My life is great. One of the reasons it is great is I take the time to write out my thoughts when I choose to do so. I don't give a flying fuck if you read them or not. What matters to me is that I wrote them. I like my "essay." It's an excellent means of self-reflection and thinking things through. You should try some of that, as clearly you are a bitter, angry asshole.

It's notable that you replied to exactly NOTHING in my comment, instead you fling only insults and obscenities. I can do that too, but it's generally best to include at least a few lines of coherent reasoning in among your spittle-spewing.
One of my all-time favorite BL hidden gems. Touching, simple, profound, moving, real and with a sense of innocence you can't fake. Beautiful. Watch it.
Thank you for your review. You put into words much of what I think about this little beauty but hadn't bothered to write down yet. I have watched it twice and will definitely watch it a third and fourth time. Good is good.
My favorite scene: When Night wakes in the morning to find Time already gone. He looks around, bewildered, out the window, around the room and then hand-walks his torso around the corner to peek into the bathroom with his feet still on the bed. Something about that is so pure, innocent and beautiful that I started crying the first time I saw it.
I am also kind of tired listening to bad things about the scene; I am in all honesty if I were in Jin's shoes…
I think we'll get a moment of stunned silence as they stare into each others' eyes. And then Jin will punch Bbomb in the mouth, You'll notice it is almost always the corner bottom left lip that is injured, which makes sense as most people swing with their right, but still it's amusing how its always in that little lower corner. And maybe one more abrasion on the upper left cheek bone/eye. But what's REALLY funny is when the show has a really bad makeup department, and the injuries look as though someone just smooshed some rouge around the area. :) Of course, the cotton swab used to delicately apply the antiseptic by the injured party's future butt-buddy must NEVER actually touch the injury as that would cause it to come off. lol
IPYTM and ITSAY are in an entirely different class of their own, like Super-BLs or something. I thought a couple…
I would LOVE a surprise BJ in the shower. :D I predict Jin will pull away, look shocked, then punch Bbomb in his gorgeous face. Never mind that he was into it. He's not ready to admit that. lol
Comments like yours are what make this thread so delightful after something primal and human happens without consent…
Of course you can watch what ever you want. The question is WHY a person would continue t o watch a show that upsets them so? I suspect you enjoy bitching.
I haven't even watched this yet, which I'm about to, but your comment caught my eye as I scrolled through. I don't…
Thanks for replying. You said you "have to look away," they make you so uncomfortable. That's what grabbed my attention and why I asked. To me, those interludes are cute but very odd/strange in the way they're just thrown in unrelated to anything else. :)
