I do not think that simply labeling something as fiction prevents it from being problematic (hurtful) in the eyes…
In a country of 51 million people, who cares what 109,000 censorious idiots on the Internet think about anything? That is .0021% of the people who are bitching and moaning about a show they haven't even seen. Lots of production money is going to start going from Korea to other countries not run by hysterical Puritans on the Internet.
My god, South Korea is becoming the censorship capital of the world! wtf? In a country of 51 million people, who gives a shit what 109,000 psycho Internet trolls think? Wow, after the horrible fate of "Exorcist," which again, was cancelled after a petition that only now is clearing 200,000 out of FIFTY-ONE FREAKING MILLION people! This is insane and I hope it stops before production companies begin to take their money and projects elsewhere.
When it comes to censorship, South Korea seems to be becoming the new North Korea.
Okay so firstly, most of the people must've guessed who that "A guy from nearby faculty" is, if not, then carefully…
I don't think the director is actually trying to keep it a mystery, do you? Seems odd to me that in the darkly-lit texting scenes Pi looks at the other person when he speaks, which would indicate to me, in keeping with the abstract world of that scene, that he knows who it is.
Took its slot and Mix is in it, but yeah, a whole other kettle of, um, fish. (sorry)Thai dramas seem to have a…
I see no problem with becoming the best version of yourself that you choose to be. Some people miss out on opportunities, personal and professional, because the way they present themselves to the world makes a poor impression. The problem comes, as it does with most things, when you take that principle to an extreme with drastic, unhealthy weight changes, plastic surgery or taking on a look that you don't care for yourself.
A lot of people don't realize how others perceive them. The way they present to others may not be in line with who they are inside.

"unproblematic..." lol Where did you find "body shaming" in this episode? There were two large students on stage at the beginning in the middle of a "confession ceremony."
Guys,....can anyone tell me who is playing the role of Pi and Duean's elder brother???
He had a supporting role in an earlier BL but I can't recall which one. He had a crush on half of the MC and was very upfront about it. His character knew he didn't have a chance with the object of his affections but nevertheless helped him in ways that brought the MC together. He was kind, loyal, funny and a real standout. I wasn't surprised to see him in a bigger role in another BL He's grown! :D
I'm actually really not a fan of changing the way you look to get someones attention or love just because of that…
Cant disagree in general, but it's a good idea to look like the best version of you, whatever you consider that to be. It's true that some people look remarkably more attractive without their glasses on, so contacts is a simple fix. Now about those braces...
Off to a good start, I'd say. No glaring shortcomings. I was thinking the same as a commenter below, that Pi is NOT one of those people that look homely in a pair of eye glasses and braces. You can tell he's hot. lol Mork is damn hot.
Not sure about the choice they've made to keep Pi's mystery online chat-buddy in shadow during those conversations when they've already shown enough of that person's face that we know who it is. And why have Pi look at the chat-buddy's face while they chat but not vice-versa? I think the device would work better if neither one looked at the other. Also not sure why they let us know from the beginning who the chat-buddy is.
I'm glad to see a set of parents, Pi's, who seem to be likeable, normal, pleasant people instead of selfish, absent, authoritarian assholes who show up only long enough to render judgement and tear couples apart.
So...this looks good. I look forward to the next episode.
Did SD and SY have their sex drives surgically removed in a tandem operation after the couch scene episode? They became entirely sexless. Passion was excised as well. Just two butterflies and unicorns fellows in a BL love-storm. ugh
