So... I will always complain about an obessive possessive stalker type... it's why I tend to dislike Lee Min Ho dramas (other than the fact that he's the lead). Even if they are "reconnecting" she is still stalking him.

Yup, just really hoping fans will learn to stop romanticizing and excusing this behavior, it definitely doesn't help. I started changing cause someone I respected politely, and simply explained that in a falling out between one of my friends, my actions were an issue, and it's best to focus on what I did, and can do. They emphasized not that I was the problem, but my actions were.
A lot of times in arguments people look for who is at fault, for who IS the problem. But people aren't problems, their actions and the impact of those actions are.
I wish people would realize you can sympathize and wish the best for someone, without condoning their misdeeds.

Whether the main female lead changes or not doesn't matter to me, I still think this will be an entertaining story. But the fans can certainly be frightening.

It would be more productive to not criticize the tastes of other viewers based on assumptions.

Also to those who are looking for a Rom-com with a mental illness plot (whether they like this one or not), I would recommend giving "It's okay, that's love" a shot. It wasn't for me, but I did watch to the end and it's a well made drama.

Hello, and welcome. Thank you for making this clear early on, we def have a few TKEM commentators here and this section could probs turn into a war zone at the drop of a hat. I've already seen some comments that resemble early on TKEM defense comments.

That's one of the reasons I feel so strongly about this. If I hadn't started trying to change things for the better, I'd still be hurting people and hurting, wondering why it always happened to me.

Unfortunately I'm not in a place where I can easily seek mental help so for now I'm studying it in my free time and seeing if I can create a sort of self care. Been thinking back on nasty things I've done that I will never have the chance to properly apologize for and trying to figure out how to mentally deal with those.

Edit: A lot of those things happened cause I was paranoid and afraid, and I justified them because of my trauma and depression. I thought because I was the victim of one I could never be the perpetraitor.

also, the actress has indeed suffered from depression and some other health issues for a while, but she broke laws, caused a witch hunt, and hasn't apologized, received punishment, or sought out mental help. It's not that she is without mental issues, it's that people are acting like it's totally fine that she completely ruined and bullied a person because she suffers from mental issues.

I don't think the show is romanticizing it, I think the fans definitely are.

Yeah, honestly not a fan of procedurals, but still holding out hope for this one. Even if the story completely wains I've already committed myself to finishing this one for the sake of reviewing for friends and family (5 fam hoping to watch, with 1 who already would have issues with it). The visuals alone will be enough to keep me entertained for a while, similar to 'mirror of the witch'. Although I doubt this one will stoop to that level.

It explains her behavior, but doesn't excuse it. When I say this my point isn't that she should act normal, It's that the person who is romanticizing such behavior shouldn't be.
I recently had a brief convo (of which I gave up) about an actress who completely ruined someone's career and rep by slandering him on social media, when it came out that she was lying people started eating up her narrative that she was depressed and hurt and that's why she lashed out. There are still people who defend her.
So whenever I see commentators defending a fictional character's behavior based on mental state I point out that it may be an explanation but should not be used as an excuse.

I'm liking it so far as well! 3rd ep was a bit of a detour from what I liked about the show, but I'm still hopeful proceeding.

In my opinion, she views everyone and everything as an object. She does value him more, but still can't understand his emotions.
When my sister was younger she thought other people were robots because she hadn't yet understood how other people can think outside of her mind. I wouldn't be surprised if she views other people as puppets.

No her career is not ruined. She still has modeling gigs even after all that. She hasn't been in dramas and movies for a long time due to health reasons, not her Ex.

Her goal wasn't to preserve her future but to destroy his by dragging him through the mud. He was fired from a variety show of which he'd been a regular a long time, he was bullied off social media by her fans, he lost plenty of his own, and he still receives hate even after he released the text messages that proved she was trying to control the narrative.

I do not consider it 'past faults' until the flaw is fixed, she still brings up the divorce in the numerous interviews and instagram posts, she still tries to justify her actions or at least lighten the guilt, and she still hasn't admitted what she did was wrong. She's simply hoping that saying "Im moving on with my life" will make others forget as well.

Honestly I only came here to see if she had any upcoming projects because an article about her studying abroad ran across my dash, but what you said ("What she did at the time was very inconsiderate of her but she had her reasons.") is a constant issue amongst fans. I seriously hope she seeks help, but based on how she's continued to proceed she still does not take any responsibility and won't grow from this experience.

Also their divorce is not finalized they are starting court mandated divorce mediation.

It wasn't inconsiderate it was calculated and vindictive, a pattern of behavior evident from her texts as well. She needs to not just admit what she did was wrong but actually make an effort to improve. She intentionally sabotaged her ex's career, that's far from just 'inconsiderate.'

OMG NO. That's not how the world works. There is no excuse for what she did, just because you're hurt doesn't give you the right to hurt someone else.
her ex probably isn't sinless, but in this situation there is nothing apparent that he did wrong. Instead of blabbing to the public about their affairs he tried to keep it quiet. Just speculating that he probably has a 'dirty side' is trying to cast blame onto a victim.

Actors don't have as many problems until they get a divorce, and then SNS becomes a battlefield. back in Nov I searched up Ahn Jae Hyun to see if he had any dramas slated and all the news was about his divorce and his ex dragging his name through the mud while he remained silent.
