What an interesting approach to reality television! I've always heard how Japanese reality programs are way ahead of the rest of the world but I've never been a fan of the genre. This show though seems like something I wouldn't mind watching.
Great article and thanks for the bringing it to light!

There are many shows that trigger us into thinking about real life situations and how we or people would react if they were confronted with something morally/physically difficult. Great thoughts about these shows. Nice article. Kudos!

I loved reading your article and it's predecessor as well. As viewers we only get to see the final product, never realising the work that goes behind translating into the different languages.
It would be interesting to hear more about the difficulties involved in finding the right words to replace the original dialogue and how much time goes into getting the same feeling as the original across to the viewers.

This is so true. As I hear the dialogue for the historical Chinese dramas and read the subtitles, I see so much difference in the meaning as well as gestures that doesn't get translated into English at all. Songs are one of the most difficult because they are even more allegorical than the dialogues.
Very interesting article!

Loved the presentation of this article!! Great job to all the authors❤️
I first watched LJS in 'I can hear your voice'. He has come such a long from there! A very dedicated and humble actor. :)

I love historical dramas. I think the setting itself is romantic and as you rightly mentioned it's easier to fantasise because we don't live in those times so we can ignore the harsh realities of those times.
Nice article!

Nice and deep article! They really test those friendships in K-drama, most times good friendships remain steady through thick and thin. Some sis-mances are so cool that I almost envy the FL. :)
